Am finding problem in my play store when i download apps at my play store it cant download.

Our nightmare with Sony mobile phones:
Here is my and my girlfriend story with my Sony Xperia J and my girlfriend's Sony Xperia S.
Both me and my girlfriend needed to update our mobile phones to a smartphone capable of browsing internet, playing music, making simple photos etc.
We were not interested in the best quality of picture/screen resolution etc.
What was important was reliability. We are both nurses and sometimes we need to send a quick text to each other or check something quickly on the internet.
We wanted simple functions that work with no problem. We noticed that everyone has the iPhone and decided that we wanted to be perhaps a little bit original.
We turned to Sony Xperia J and S as they looked pleasant and we trusted the brand knowing its history of electronic development.
Well…that was really great mistake. Please read till the end and you will find why you should just go for what is proved to work well.
Tools given you in the Sony Xperia J & S phones are not working properly either due to very poor hardware such as low cpu;ram;screen of the phone causing it to crash/freeze or to the fact that it is utterly unintuitive to use phone features.
- Calling
After all…this supposed to be a phone,therefore it should make and receive calls with no problem. Well…my Sony Xperia J is unable to perform its most important task.
For example: You must not put your phone next to your face/ear as it will switch the call off. You also must be extremely careful how you pick the phone up i.e. from you pocket as you will most likely switch the call off as well.
Furthermore, because of really poor touch screen, I always have problem swiping the screen to pick up the call. It is unresponsive.
Also, if there is just a single drop of water on the screen (I suppose Sony engineers are not familiar with the concept of rain), it is just impossible to use the touch screen anymore (cannot pick up or make a call, not to mention making texts etc.)
Also, my mum called me the other day to tell me that I have called her from work twice. It was an inter national call from UK to Ireland. Be careful then as your SONY Xperia phone will call people when it wants it, potentially spending lots of your money! It has also sent some random letters text to one person on my contact list. I had to apologise for my stupid phone…Well done Sony !
So…how good is the phone if you cannot pick up the call, you are constantly worried that you may cancel the call, does not work in a slightest rain or you can't even put the headset properly to your ear or if your phone will randomly call people without your knowledge ?
- Clock + Alarm
One of the things I depend on the most in my phone is the clock and alarm to wake me up for work.
To set up the alarm you have to go into the clock,then tap on the tiny little area to access the alarm setting. Mind you, getting into alarm setting is very difficult due to the fact that the screen is not sensitive/not precise…Once you tried several times and was successful, you need to tap again on the time to set it up, then scroll to the time you want to set, then tap set. One may think that it was over, but you still have to tap "OK" in the bottom corner if you want the alarm to work.
No kidding…this is the length you have to go to set up an alarm. I once did not tap "OK" at the end and it just did not work..was late for work because of this.
Clock on both our phones adjusts itself the way it wants…usually it is about 20-30 minutes too slow or too fast (we referenced the time with BBC News). Automatic time is switched off and yet straight after setting the time, the clock just starts displaying the wrong time and gets more delayed/too fast with time. It’s digital, not mechanical so WTF?
- Touch screen
Touchscreen is quite often unresponsive. Don't know if it is slow CPU or touchscreen, but I honestly do not care. It does not work !
As mentioned above, touchscreen will not work if you have moist hands/cold hands or if you kept it in the pocket and its warm, I find it just unresponsive. Once there is just a tiny little drop of water (just 1 drop) on the screen, it gets crazy (will behave as you are tapping random areas of the screen).
- CPU
The CPU in the phone cannot cope with the functions of the phone itself, not to mention other applications. I must emphasise that I am not a power user of demanding apps. I like to check my Facebook sometimes, see the weather report, check my e-mail. I have just few apps downloaded.I had to throw away 90% of them in belief that my phone will work better. It did not work better at all.
- Storage
Though I made sure I swiped my storage space clean, left just the bare minimum like Facebook and Viber applications in, my phone says that there is no space available anymore to download any app. When I check how much space is actually available, it states that I still have more than 100 Mb available, yet I cannot download any app that is just few Mb in size. Rubbish.
I installed an external SD card, but from time to time it just does not read it. Often the contacts on my phone disappear or music on my SD card vanishes. SD card works ok, no problem in other devices.
- Phone contacts
My girlfriends contacts just disappeared and I cannot add anyone to mine. It lets me add people to the concat list, but then it does not display contacts I add. It is nowhere to be found, not in the phone memory,not on the external card. Also, my phone stops displaying people randomly. I wanted to call my aunt the other day and could not as she was not in my contact list anymore. Surely, my phone had a reason not to let me contact my family anymore…
- Music
I find Sony to be very proud of its heritage of portable music listening devices like walkman and great influence on music industry by making great gear for recording studios such as microphones.
Having that in mind, I thought that Sony smartphone will enable me to listen to music on the go with pleasure. Unfortunately I found myself disappointed again. Here is why:
I am using the loudest setting of the volume (loudness) of the phone when I am not listening to music via earphones so that I can hear my phone clearly when it rings. When I want to play the music, I adjust the volume so that it will not be too loud. Then when I play the track, the phone will follow the loudest volume setting for a split second, then adjust itself to the set loudness. I find it extremely unprofessional as this is simply dangerous. Imagine trusting your phone to play the music half loud and then get the loud blow straight into your ears from your stupid phone…Sony..really ?!
Music disappears from my playlist. I've put a lot of time to arrange music into playlists in my phone like classic,jazz etc. You can do it only on the computer though as arranging audio files on the phone is impossible. Found that my music just vanished from my playlist.
Also, arranging music the way you like is an utter pain in the neck. It is very lengthy process and needless to say, it is very unintuitive
Taking everything into consideration, my and my girlfriends experience with Sony mobile phones was a constant frustration and disappointment that turned into utter hate of the brand Sony.
Both phones are not reliable in any of aspects that matters to us and it was the biggest waste of money we have ever made.
We cannot recommend these phones to anyone and in fact we strongly advise to stay away from Sony mobile phones.
The reason for it is this: if Sony has ever released such products and dared to advertise it to the public as a functional device when it clearly is not, do not make the mistake to buy any mobile phone from Sony as you may share my frustration.
Sony mobile phones are a joke,rip-off and WILL give you so much trouble that you will start to hate the brand.
We will not buy ANYTHING that Sony does again. If Sony dares to release a product that does not work, what guarantee do you have they won’t do it again ? Therefore buying anything from Sony is a potential waste of your hard earned money.

Perfect if you buy on pay as you go..this phone is realy not worth the exstortionate price I pay evry munth also my screen has cracked 3 times it is very slow and a few apps have stoped workrn!! DONT RECOMEND AT ALL---

Well, I've been using this phone for about 3 Month, this is a good low-end phone actually coz:
-You get a very cool design
-You get display with gorilla glass
-Great battery life
Only one thing that I dont like is I can't find stable and less bug custom rom for this device, already try seraphic, doomsday rom both have fatal bug. Now I use alien rom not very good coz still have some annoying bug, but for me this one is better than stock or both doomsday and seraphic.
(my bootloader still locked and I don't wanna unlock it coz it Will cause drm losing forever)

Maybe it's just my particular phone, but I am coming towards the end of my 24 month contract with it and IT CAN NOT COME SOON ENOUGH! Don't buy it. You will be disgusted. For a while my screen wouldn't even register a touch for more than a second so I couldn't even move any apps! Terrible camera, sluggish performance. Only good thing is the battery.

Not a very good phone. Have had for quite some time and the performance is terrible, apps tend to crash and it runs very slowly in general. Not enough memory either. Have also been having problems with receiving texts, can get them hours late. Regret getting phone.

I overall had very bad experience with this mobile.MY touch is gone and i am not able to hear voice when i receive calls.Better to try any other version of mobile than J .
