Previously i was using xperia x 10 mini..i want to use a bigger mobile so opted for this after a long research..definitely worth for money u pay..battery backup is good compared to others..

I fell in love with the Xperia J design. However,with the Audio level, Camera, all the lags I'd experienced, I can't say this new model of Sony is all that revolutionary. And I'm pretty sure that those who own it will agree with me. What we are looking for in a smartphone in this price range is a smooth UI, average camera output, above average quality audio(like we used to have on a sony ericsson mobile). Why not simply stick with GINGERBREAD when the current hardware can't properly cope with ICS? A few of my pals own Xperia Sola, Miro, U, Tipo, and I still prefer them over J. I'm just stating the obvious and no hard feelings. Nice day.

Purchased Xperia J a month ago. Overall look, design(sexy), display size, and battery life is satisfactory. However, with the 4.0.4 ICS, 512 mb RAM, and the single core processor it just isn't smooth enough. With the planned upgrade to JB, I really don't think it gonna do any much good since it's facing too much lagging already with the current hardware. Plus, the headset audio is way too low(most likely equivalent to half the volume on a Samsung S Duos), and the 5.0 mp camera is a little disappointing(compared to Nokia and Samsung 5.0 mp).
From my experience in having owned this phone, if you love music, you're gonna hate the Xperia J. If you love quality picture, you're still gonna hate it. If you're an user who simply loves good looking phones, this phone is for you. For those of you guys who plan to switch from Samsung, HTC, LG, Motorola etc to Sony, Avoid Xperia J. :) Peace out.

joy, 04 Jan 2013how to do caliberation?If you are xperiencing lag in j just download the link below, extract it using pc then find the apk fie, copy it and paste to the download folder in your j, then open it using astro file manger and install it. This app is made for xperia tipo but it works on j too. I've downloaded it and installed 2 days ago and the lag on my j instantly gone.. So if you have serious problem about lagging in your j, this is the best way to solve your problem.
