Actual time may vary; I checked the signal strength in my location by looking at my phones status (2 phones with sim cards from same operator, one was set to GSM the other one to 3G) that the GSM one got better reception at every time I checked. Means that signal strength in GSM mode always better than in 3G in my area, and I also checked after 24h in stand-by the GSM one has more battery % than the other one.

HI, so i cannot understand one thing for a long time - to save battery, u must put it in 3g or 2g????, what the hall means that in 2g is more battery drain than 3g??? someone pls, thx

This phone has available in Indonesia, how nice, i'll buy it next week. For Indonesia it's only IDR 2.600K, well that is overprice, I hope it's IDR 2.400K

deep, 12 Oct 2012i called sony helpline... they are not sure when it will be... morecustomer desk of sony-mobile is running without updated information all the time.
i called them just before the miro had launched here at India, and they failed to inform that to me as well.

the specs of the experia j and the optimus L7 are almost identical. the only difference is that the J runs on 4.0.4 while the L7 runs on 4.0.3, L7 is bigger but lighter, the J has image stabilizer but L7 has a bigger user available storage, and the J's battery is slightly bigger with 1750mAh while the L7 has 1700mAh bat. so which one should i buy? the J or L7? for sure the L7 is cheaper than the J. hehe

This shitty phone has outdated hardware. Only good thing is 4" screen(that too is TFT, not LED-backlit LCD) & a better 1750 mAh battery. For Indian customers better buy an Xperia P from ebay India for Rs.17500 than buying this phone for 14399.

xperia j is being sold for 14,344 INR in hong kong thats a goos news for indian's and also for asian countries. ;)
