I have installed adobe flash on my Xperia P and it is working properly.

Not too many websites use HTML5, majority of websites are still using flash and will for a more years to come. No need to change for Xperia L as of now because something better than Xperia L will come when all of the websites use HTML5 by then my Xperia P will still supports HTML5 but will give it to charity and upgrade, but not to Xperia L, never!

                    End...

Because it is clearly stated in the phone specs.

Tcool, 06 Apr 2013Philippines doesn't reperesent the whole world. L maybe ... moreStill, your claim that L will cost 300 Euro is false.

P is expensive a lot of places, but should drop soon. Anyway its an old phone that does not catch any interest anymore.

I could go on if you like. I have expoerience with that NovaThor chipset. The extra RAM of the P does not make it much faster than Xperia U, its not a fast phone, does not feel so premium in performance, considerably slower than Galaxy S2. The chipset manufacturer doesnt even exist anymore. Thats a hipset for low end and should never have been used in P, ok for Xperia U but in a midranger like P it was unaceptable, and still is.

Those NovaThor chipsets have wifi issues, even on ICS. On Gingerbread they would not work at all on some wifi networks.

Freeze and hang and wifi problems are common on Sony phones with NovaThor: U, P, Sola, Go. I bet you already experienced a few issues yourself, not expecting you to admit it.

Battery is not good, no matter what you say.

And finally, get a life, go and love your P but dont expect everyone else to be interested in oldtimer phones with non-existent chipset manufacturer.

Tcool, 06 Apr 2013You are wrong to say that Android has gotten rid of adobe f... moreThat's not a lie son.it's a fact.android officially doesn't support adobe flash after ICS.neither is flash player available on playstore anymore.u r too naive to know that.
About gs3 that u r talking about let me tell u something -galaxy s3 and even the s4 come with the modified android 4.0 ICS webkit browser as the stock browser and not chrome that comes with stock jelly bean OS which doesn't support flash.samsung has deliberately stuck to older browser so that it can enable flash.i don't think that's gonna last long as at some point, they'll have to adopt the newer engine browser.
Sony's case is diffrent.xperia z/zl come with chrome and so doesn't support flash.so don't think that sony r going to give ur beloved xperia p an special treatment.and if one wants,he/she can sideload the .apk file for the flash player from outside the playstore and it will work even on the jb running xperia l.just don't expect any bug fixes/updates in that case.
Yes android has gotten rid of flash for gud.i never missed it one bit while browsing on chrome, opera, mozilla for android which also don't come with flash built in.and btw in my region too l is gonna cost less even now than p.(p - 22 k INR and l - 19 k INR).Ur region is the odd on out here.
U don't have to believe anybody if do ur homework properly.just do a bit more research and u'll know what i m saying instead of going on and on with ur rhetoric statements.

Also since most connectivity feature r on die in snapdragon chipsets, l has higher hsdpa speeds, higher bandwith for wifi, more recent BT version etc etc.not to mention the p has a terrible batterylife.and about u whinning about adobe flash, xperia p will no longer have that capability once it gets updated to JB.android has gotten rid of the flash for the gud.
U think that only screen res and 1080p recording matter? Just coz of these it make p a better choice ? No.xperia l for me anyday over xperia p.

Tcool, 05 Apr 2013Xperia L is 300 EUR, more expensive than Xperia P at 220 EUR.I said it's "launch" price would be cheaper than that of xperia p.
P was 25 k INR or £300 at launch and l is nowhere near to that.
P is more than a year old now.u can expect a pricedrop like that.even xperia s/sl have had significant pricedrops now and they cost just a bit more than p.and they r much better in price : spec ratio than the p.if one would want an old phone they would much rather get s/sl instead.
