356.27 USD = 14,696.34 PHP, and VAT is only 12% here, i think its 20 in UK. Maybe the SRP will be only 14490, and possibly minus cash discount. On Sony Vaio the cash discount is 10%, on Xperia J its 1500. We will know for sure soon enough.

P has bad battery, dont deny it.
Yes P has better display, not critical, the L has pixel density near that of the Xperia Arc, thats good enough for a lower midrange but sure i would not mind if it was higher. What matters more here is that L has BIGGER display.
The design of Arc was great, maybe L looks even better, even if its not as slim as Arc. Still slimmer than P though. We have an Xperia U in the family and it feels fat, same as P.

By the way, i just found out there is a thread for Xperia P here, surprise! Lets go there shall we?
On a more serious note, waiting for L. The battery size is not great but should last a lot longer than Xperia P, and thats good enough. The person i will buy the L for is a heavy youtube user, her current Xperia Mini is very durable for this use but at the cost of a very small and low res display of course. Xperia SP is an option but too close to flagships in price, if it had 2GB RAM maybe it would be worth it. Im also expecting TX to drop further in price, already seen it at around php 23k, thats WITH an NTC sticker and official warranty, i like that it has 16GB storage but the battery time is not good enough.
Any phone i forgot that should be considered? Considered J for a while but it has weaker CPU/GPU than the Mini.

Design of P is outdated and no longer stunning.
And once again, no memory card.
Sure P is a good phone, but its feeling its age already, L will be a lot faster.

[deleted post]SRP is php 15990, so it cost more than Xperia L will cost. Maybe the SRP of L will be around 15k but you will surely find it cheaper than that without going to grey market devices without Sony PH warranty.
