It's a true opinion about l1. I bought this phone3017 Nov 10.good cameras.big display.fast network.in India especially inside place if little 4g connected place 4g working properly. But telling about batery too too bad. Draining fast. Taking morethan three and half hour for charging when we put from 30%.regarding sometimes so heat.not always.now my wife using. She told phone ok.

I had no issues with it, but it is pure crap. Cheap plastics, cheap feeling, bad camera etc.

This phone is absolutely fine. I suspect the claims for both accelerometer and compass are not true as it can't run cardboard

HALLOOOO, phone only comes in two colours, sell it at my job, proper dead, but make pure nosh from it, got the managers in the HR room bent over the counter.
dash it across the floor so I can confirm its double crap
cant even 3 or 4 bomb it.

DO NOT BUY THIS. This is the worst phone to buy, the biggest flaw is that it heats up really fast and makes it a pain in the head to use it. Its like I am putting hot iron on my ears when ever I use it. The user interface is another level of crap.

I think Sony should make its entry level phones like the L1 and L2 as Dual Sim phones. For example the Dual Sim variant of the L1 with the model number G3312 is difficult to find.

Unfortunately Sony does not provide an update to Oreo but at least it is getting regular security patches. I think currently it is being updated to November 2018 security patch.

For example when I play Pubg Mobile for 30-60 minutes the phone gets warm around the camera but not so hot that it becomes unpleasant to hold. You should go to a doctor if you have headaches from using this phone.
Battery life is good despite a small 2620 mAh battery. I get above 6 hours of SoT with wifi turned on.
GPS works very good despite a Mediatek CPU.

Excellent budget phone at £120-£130, even though it has 2GB it still uses about 75% of that after booting up which is a shame, but you can disable all the bloatware sony apps, great battery life, i get 2 days good usage from it

Never Buy this phone, it gets hot really fast and will give you headaches. Not recommended ever.

nice but..., 29 Aug 2018the L1 looks good but the 2GB ram seems to lag quite a bit ... moreIts fine for everyday use. Will not get any major android updates.

Musavvir, 04 Apr 2018hello........i bought this phone two weeks ago.... although... moreI think thats a battery health thing in settings, it learns when you charge and stopps at 90% then when your about to wake up it goes to 100%. But it does not always work. It helps to keep your battery lifespan longer. You can turn it off tho.
