The only cons i found was the battery life,the screen display could be better and the 8gb of memory which nowadays are not enough.
Overall a good phone for its price

Guys,my friend had an Xperia Z(bought on 2012) and it is still okay now..no lags or issues at all(he sometimes use it underwater)..i'm interested with Sony so i decided to try this phone cuz i can't afford a Z5..can u guys tell me whether this is a good or bad phone..advantages and disadvantages perhaps?thx for spending ur time

This phone is the worst phone ever. mine has now been replaced for a new one 3 times. even the guy in tec support told me his son has one and they are crap. Sony release crytical updates that screwed it up first. then a new one. then overheated all the while and blue screened. then a new phone as it could not be fixed. then the camera dosnt work and keeps telling me no service no sim inserted guess wht.... a new phone .. these are crap do not buy one . I took advice of tec support. keep using it , keep sending it back eventualy they will run out of staock.. I will then recieve a different model.... Never buying a sony ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This phone is great for those who like to take pictures, great quality, best there is. It is also larger (length and width) to most phones from it's time.

The Reasons for buying this phone is the battery life !
The fact that you can really use it underwater and take pictures
The Music sounds incredible (even Iphone 6s cannot match the quality believe me ! )
It supports 4G LTE and will get the Android 6.0 Update which is nice
also it has 2GB of ram but you already know that anyway
the minus is really the fact that sometimes gets hot and 8GB of storage are nothing (but SD card slots will do the trick. Basically it just gets your daily jobs done The camera could have been better... :/
But i would definitely buy this phone over huaweii htc etc. Samsung is a rival to this phone if you ask me a simple comparison is the S4 :)

worst phone i ever have.. the first time I bought it i thought that it would last more than a year of me using it.. after a few months I was so so disappointed, and the promise of Android M hasn`t been release yet, and Android N is already on Beta testing, the Phone over heats especially when playing games, LAGS a lot, Android L 5.0 version is the worst of all, battery doesn`t even last 2 days. the only good thing about it is it`s water proof. nothing else.

The phone UI lags, the music app has reproduction errors, the task manager lags a lot, the brightness sensor sucks, the camera app is slow, the camera takes a lot to focus, the video stabilization criples the video quality, the MM update was promised long ago and is not yet delivered, gaming experience is horrible, underclocked cpu.The only good things about this phone are the water redistance and the design. As it is now, AVOID this phone 4/10 (I have had it for 4 months).

I had bought this phn 6mnth ago.....i served prblm till today...2times for repair company took it for a mnth...no camera quality no battry backup n also heating prblm..that means i totaly lost my saving on this phn...i don't get much relief or replacemnt by sony.....thanx

I have this phone for less than a year now.. all I can say is it`s a good phone for a mid-range level.. it does what typical day to day task, the very down fall of this phone is it over heats.. YES it does over heat, a lot especially when gaming is involved, there are also some games that does not run good even though it`s not even power hungry, battery most of all is a LIE it says on the advertisement it`ll last 2 days, sad to say its a falls advertisement, I`m not even a heavy user but the amount I get from battery is not fair enough.. by the end of the day i have to charge the phone, I get home and like the battery is in 15%, at first I was loving it.. then I came to like it,, then now I wanted to change to a new phone so badly.. I was hoping to get the upcoming Xperia X, judging from the video reviews of android authority it`s a good phone..? but is it really worth the buy? Sony could have gone using more than the snapdragon 650 of course less than the snapdragon 820 but should be above 650, I should say snapdragon 650 could power up the Xperia XA/ XA Ultra a snapdragon 652 perhaps or 810 should do.. but since 810 was used to power up previous flagship phones sony didn`t bother. I saw the Xperia X Performance in real life not just videos and I was surprise, they could have done better than 1080p, should have been QHD the latest processor is in it the 820 but it could have gone better.

I received a small update for "system update app" . It now shows apps on the update center like music, whats new etc. i thought it was already the Marshmallow update.

It's so good and it is slim on hand and lite moreover,it has beautiful system such z2 shape
