I'm using this phone to 8 month. It is bad phone at this price so plz don't waste your money buy this phone. I suggest moto g3 or g4.
Cemara quality is poor and phone performance is slow and bad but i repair saftware.
I'm phacing diffrent problem.

If there is back cover that is "thick", it will block several antenna that will need more power and generate heat.
The phone go blank is in standby mode.
Go to Setting --> Display >> Screen timeout - adjust to your preference.

On the other side, it is the Wifi /Bluetooth antenna.
Do not block both side on top, as any blockage will generate heat, as it need more battery power.

Remove all apps that you seldom used &or to use it once in a while when necessary.
When you really need to use the app which you use it once in while, then install. After using, uninstall the app.
This is like having a temp storage space for to install to use, and uninstall when not in use.
Theory, is that the temp storage is for those apps that you use it once in a while.
There is no harm in this way, as install and uninstall will be much better.
These apps' data which use a tiny storage space, and may not deleted.
Hence, once you re-install the apps, the apps will have that apps' data, everything it there.
Most apps you install & uninstall will be easily available to find.
These apps are located in Play Store -> My apps and games -> ALL
I don't think many user know about this options which benefit user like you.
That is to uninstall those seldom use apps, and when needed then go to ALL to locate and install to use the app.

Behind is speaker. On top is to listen to the caller. Both are different.
Normally, when waiting to connect, i use speaker to listen until the receiver pick up.
When someone speak at the other end, i turn off the speaker.
Most phone on top is the sound of caller, and put it center of your ear, and adjust accordingly.
Try not to use speaker while talking, as mainly for music and listening to dally tone.
Use earpiece to see the difference.

I enjoy the phone but the OS takes up too much of the internal storage and that limits the number of applications I can have on my phone. NOT HAPPY about that; phone always saying 85% storage used up... Is there another way I can manage my storage apart from disabling apps I don't use, clearing cache, transferring my media files to my memory card?

i had no problem with this phone until it just went blank and after 5 min it was extremely hot idk war to do with this thing few of my biggest regrets

Sony makes so many phones they are not interested in further development on a phone from 2015. They want you to buy a new one. They are as bad as Samsung when it come the amount of junk they produce.

I have this problem : everything works fine except the speaker, I can't hear clearly while talking on the phone.

Phone became extremely hot ,around the camera lens area,I have had no problems with camera,video,or Internet,or indeed phone until three days ago,it just froze, and would not turn
off or on ,and is permanently jammed ,I have had to send it away to virgin ,where it's being repaired free of charge,after reading other owners various problems, I may be going back to the shop and changing it for something else

I have had so many problems with this phone.... First... My speaker stopped working. Then the camera stopped working whenever the phone was hot... Then my screen cracked without me dropping it. The crack was not on the outer screen, but only on the inside ... And i then proceeded to change the screen... Once that was fixed... Worked for a month and now it doesn't want to charge.... Can the phone be that bad to have that many issues

My xperia M4 works fine otherwise but it has a very irritating problem of it's microphone not working. It's microphone doesn't work randomly and starts working on its own. I have already tried software repair but to no avail. Can anyone suggest me any solution?

absolutely loved this phone until I got soaked in the rain with my phone in my pocket, the phone got soaked but I dried it off and thought it would be fine because it is meant to be waterproof up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, 3 hours later the phone started to go nuts and now the screen is off and I cant get it to work, this phone is not at all waterproof
