m4 aqua, 21 Oct 2015is it a problem when buying the 8gb series in m4 aqua......... Every one should buy this phone because winter is coming and it will help to keep you hot in this particular season hury up winter is coming.

    Amazing that it doesn't heat.maybe the new set of devices after 2015 August have the problem solved.
    If you do some gaming please share with us the max temperature.
    You can find it out through cpu z app.
    Post the cpu and battery temp.

    Most m4 aqua phones heat to a maximum 55-65 celcius.
    I've seen many devices.
    But some users even witness the heat issue when used lightly.

      Here is my opinion about this phone. In one word - AMAZING! I don't play any games, but I don't have any heating problem! When I bought it, I downloaded two updates (about 370mb+190mb), almost 2gb of aplications, and didn't have any heating problem at all, it was a little hotter around the camera, but just little. My previous phone, lumia 520, was much hotter during downloading data. It works great, no restarting at all, it's fast, and has enough memory to install apps (I have currently installed 30apps, all on phone memory), it could be better 16gb memory, but it's OK. Battery is fantastic. I will recommend this phone to anybody, you will not regret if you buy it, the phone is great.

          But sony m4 has a better camera than both the above phones.
          Check YouTube videos based on c4 and m4.
          Both the devices will receive Marshmallow.
          I think c4 is the best choice. Full hd display. 16GB,2GB ram.
          And an excellent processor. Plus less heating.
          But battery life might be slightly not good.but standby would be great. Will give 2-4 days definitely under light use.

              Hi. I was thinking to buy the M4 but im quite afraid because of the comments that it has huge heating problems and its lag and low on mem. Is it true?
              My other choices are Samsung A8, Samsung Galaxy J5, Huawei P8 Lite, Xperia C4, Asus Zenfone 2, Moto G 3. But i want to try Sony because i've been using Samsung for many years.
              Which of them is great phone that i could buy for low price, good quality cam and great performance?
              Please response.

                Sony had used the 64 bit version of Android 5.02 on m4 aqua. It is buggy and using the 64 bit version should be a reason for heating
                I can give proof.
                Moto X play uses the same snapdragon 615.but Motorola still uses the 32 bit android 5.1.1 even on such a good device.
                I have found that even the moto x play heats but not as much as the m4.
                Even the Samsung A8/J7/J5 and moto G 2015 runs on Android 32bit .
                Whereas m4 / xiaomi mi4i runs android 64bit.
                So basically Samsung and Motorola have avoided 64bit android.
                This is the main reason for heating.
                I also thinks being sealed from inside due to waterproof rating and using plastic for the phone with maybe no heatpipes aggravated the issue.

                Guys this is why sony m4 heats. To overcome the issue sony downclocked the phone thus ruining the game experience.
                And antutu scores have become very similar to the moto G 2015.

                Don't blame sony. It is qualcomms fault and Android 64bit fault.
                I believe sometimes Marshmallow update will solve our problems.

                  I don't think sony batteries will swell that easily.
                  Try to always keep the battery temperature below 45 celcius.
                  I found the reason why our m4 aquas have so many problems compared to other phones.

                      I newly purchase my M4 aqua. I recognized the Nfc logo won't appear on the upper top side if I activated the Nfc slide touch function but the Nfc field will function to my Bluetooth headset and X tank stereo. Can you please help me for these? I have in my mind updating software or factory resetting could it be. I let you seek for your advice first Sony.

                          m4 aqua, 21 Oct 2015is it a problem when buying the 8gb series in m4 aqua......... This depend on how you want to use the phone. Ensure certain files & data, such as photo, is auto safe in the microSD card. Some apps do able to move to microSD card.

                            If wifi & data not required, disable it. The best method is to restart the phone.
                            This will enable to have more ram.

                                    I installed an update on my M4 aqua and when it restarted it went past the sony logo and the powered by android and just stays on the blue waves and idk how to get past that it just keeps doing it

                                      hi i am planning of buying the e2303 version of m4 aqua i like to hear what anyowner has to say?
                                      i know it overheats.
                                      well my sony E4 gets a maximum Cpu temperature of about 52 Celsius while gaming for about 30 mins.(cpuz app shows).
                                      well 52 Celsius is bearable.
                                      I like to know what m4 aquas max temp in the current firmware?
                                      any other issues.

                                        I have just recently bought a m4 and now I can't play videos on line and the videos in my album are played frame by frame also the sound is on but it only vibrates when I get a message does anyone know how to fix it
