Hello guyz, need some help about this device. I am planning to buy this as my budget only suits this phone. Just need to know about the overheating issue of this device? After the update the overheating issue totally gone or at least normalized?? Waiting for reply... Thanks in advance.

I have it and there are times i just want to smash it on the wall. yes i heats up. i use calls email.browser and viber or whatasp. speaker microphone issues. sometimes it rings and the phone hangs. screen is blank and i cant pick the call. crappiest phone from sony.

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2015Got it from Telco with 2-year plan/contract. M4 is cheap sa... moreI got the my M4 phone back, after repaired by Sony. Phone works fine now, never hang up during hours of YouTube playing.
Heating could be caused by Sony using the casing as heatsink. You will not feel the heat when the phone is inside some back cover/case.
Battery so far OK and overall device is nice. Device finishing, camera, LCD display, audio output all producing good quality.
Those who want to purchase this phone watch out for these limitations:
- Storage left with 1.5GB free space (out of the device's 8GB). Sony installed a lot of software inside and you will not be able to remove those software. 1.5GB is not going to allow you to install a lot of apps as most apps need to reside on internal storage. Get the phone version with 16GB storage if available.
- GPS reception is not that good when inside building.

Bought my phone 3 weeks ago- noticed the heat problem straight away.- then last weekend my USB/Charging port just stopped working. The phone does not detect it. This is my 8th phone, and my 3rd Sony phone, what are the chances that I "damaged" my port?
I did not even get the chance to submerge the phone. My brother got the exact same phone but in black and he has no issues what so ever. Does anyone else have a charging port issue?

i like to no that is M4 aqua model is supporting USB on the go. pendrive can be accessed or not using on the go USB.

I am aware ,after updating the phone only 1.7Gb is left. is it possible to install a game more than 2 GB directly to the SD CARD? like GTA SANANDREAS .This phone is the most coolest designed midranger ever for me.i badly want to buy.

Hey,
I bought m4 as well but after few hours started to have display off problem. Maybe due to overheating.from 1hour to 10 minutes issue arises. Phone is working with no display. (heating increases). Kept to cool down
But didn't gave any response. ONLY THING Can DO IS MANUALLY TURN OFF AND on again. No other option. I'm gonna return it back for any other solution asap. Now this SMART PHONE is useless. :-/.
