My dad bought Sony Experia from Saudi Arabia last April 14, 2016.
At first I was a amazed with the performance of the camera,videos and pictures but I noticed that there is overheating from the device. I was so supprised that it has been shutting down even if it is not low battery and it happened to me always.
How can I address this problem ?

battery problem !!!
i just bought it today and i am very dissapointed.
Its always hot! feels like it has fire on the back of the phone

SONY Taiwan has acknowledge the problem that the culprit is the 1st batch of batteries...They changed the battery with the new batch.. and upgrade the software for free..

Sony M5 is a piece of junk. It has a lot of issues with this model and I send it to the service twice and send it back after three weeks without fixing. They said after testing no problem with the phone. They don't test it or they test for just 5 minutes. The phone keep shutting down all the time and the backlight keeps changing from brightness and dim all the time. Don't buy it, and don't believe the people who told you it has solution and try this and that. Sony, don't know how to fix this issue.

or do not lag hangs games such as Nova 3 , Real Racing 3 , Dead Trigger 2 , Modern Combat 5 ?what fps?

I bought xperia M5 last September 2015 and as expected it was one of those have shutdown issues.. I just endure to use it until February 2016 and buy ASUS selfie as spare phone and just put m5 on my side table..then I have read about "battery lock test" and try it on my m5 and as expected it didn't pass the test and just shutdown again... Then April 2016 I decides to take it on SONY SC and tell them the problem and also tell them to change the battery. They did change it and try again the battery lock test three times, and surprisingly it did pass three times too and have not shutdown for 2 days..

Its not turning off the whol 3g or 4g networks.
My solution is that you turn off the specific frequency.

Reason 1: known ... moreI've had the phone for a repair, after 10 days, with a maximum usage of 12 hours of said spawn of time.
The phone overheats, shuts down, and won't turn on, before the CPU is about 30 degrees C. (Which takes time, when the CPU have reached the 70+ degrees.)
I love the design and the camera, but it's not worth buying, at all. It's a bloody tech scam.

I bought one of these (dual sim model) from a Hong Kong based retailer, had it posted to Australia. I encountered the auto-shutdown issue after a day or so of use. I was reluctant to send it back to the retailer due to the postage costs, and Sony Australia refused to have anything to do with it. My solution was to source a version 3 battery myself and I had a local guy fit it for me. 30 hours later and so far, so good. Not one auto-shutdown yet.
This phone is really good to use - fast, great specs for the price, decent battery life. My previous phone was a Samsung and I much prefer this. Unfortunately, I couldn't recommend it to anyone due to the shutdown issue. If Sony can guarantee customers that the shutdown issue has been addressed, then this phone is worth your money, if not, buy something else.

Please do not buy m5.
Reason 1: known issues like overheating and shutdown.
this is critical, why would you wanna get the phone which you cant use due to shutdown?
even if you change your battery it will still get overheat and fast draining.
dont believe the positive comments, looks like sony`s part timer.
well, if u apply my solution on the phone, you will be able to use the m5.
but why would you buy such a problem with your money? some would say 'Hey, its Sony'
yeah its Sonys product, which has performance like a cheap chinese Phone.
Reason2: Sony, never announced their stance for the shutdown.
yes, sony is famous for being lier and doing tricks to the customers.
you can find those experiences from the comments here.
Reason 3: Sony provides the slowest update for andorid.
like if nexus gets updated, after 3month you would get update from sony.
I dont wanna get my phone updated to the old version when new version out.
