I'm unable to use Asphat 7 on my phone. it shows application failure or application closed. how to overcome this issue? the second problem i m facing is i got my motherboard replaced twice, and now it shows "Xperia P LT22 instead of LT22i"; also my phone gets heated up while continuous usage. got my battery replaced. and battery life is much much better than ics. Also in power management option it shows 8hrs battery life on standby but i do get very good battery life(just curious to know why its showing me only 8hrs battery life). waiting for your answers!!! thank you :)

I have bought Xperia P by all... moreHi rocky i am also frm bd and use xperia p.It is a grt phn but i have to admit tht the battery life is not very good but this is a same issue for most of the android.when the phn hangs u can reboot it by pressing power+volume up button at the same time.U can increase the bttry life by decreasing the display brightness and also downld an battery saver app from play store and dont forget to update ur phn to jelly bean.For more help visit this site "talk.sonymobile.com"

Increase battery life- 1.turn off Wi-Fi and if you don't have any Wi-Fi connection near you then go to advanced option in Wi-Fi and select turn off Wi-Fi during sleep.and turn off Bluetooth, GPS if u don't use them.
2.stop automatic sync in accounts & sync settings.
3.select gsm only option at mobile network settings,select WCDMA(preferred)/GSM when using mobile data in 3G.
3.lower the display brightness.select 'adapt to lightning conditions' when u need more brightness when going outside or etc.
4.don't use too many widgets.
Removing battery- I don't know much about that.
If u live ur phone so much,and if u have time to spend why don't u read these comments.but skip few pages from here and then read on.(i meant after sony released updates ppl have probs with it,u don't nees them unless u updated urs.)

Hi all, I am from Bangladesh. I have bought Xperia P by all my savings, & this phone is very much valuable for me because I am from middle class family. After buying, I came to know that it has a Non-removable Li-Ion 1305 mAh battery, which is very low. If my phone is jammed, how can i reboot it? How to take care of it's low battery & save it's charge & increase it's lifetime? how to remove it's battery safely if I need to? Does it has other bad sites? Give me some other tips.

For now, most reliable update procedure is through Sony Support pages for Xperia P (without PCC or SUS installed on the phone), and then installing PCC or SUS and doing update.

AnonD-140071, 29 Apr 2013when will be the jelly bean available worldwide?This seems like worldwide upgrade (it might be coincidence, but this is the first firmware with two zeros at the end), but we see that some people are not able to update it right now.
OTA is not working for now so don't expect to download it directly to phone.

If update is available in my region,does phone displays itself that updates are available or do I need to connect phone through PC companion and then see weather updates are available or not! Please help me!

AnonD-85430, 29 Apr 2013Thanks mate ;) how's ur battery back up comparing jb from i... moreYou cannot compare battery life immediately after OS upgrade with previous battery life, it takes 2-3 full charges to get regular battery cappacity.
Anyway, I also noticed one important detail, after upgrade to JB Xperia P never goes to Deep Sleep (can be checked with BetterBattery Stats or similar program, and also Awake graph in battery usage history is full blue without black gaps (meaninig CPU never goes to offline and works on 200 MHz most of the time).
I remedy this by installing DS Battery Saver, and it works fine. But today I noticed something new. Yesterday I turned off DS (because it was interfering with my WiFi connection), and left it like this, and not I see that my phone has gone to Deep Sleep for 85% of time without DS being activated, so we might not need any other utility beside Xpera P settings (although it seems that Stamina mode is somewhat less aggressive then Extended battery time.
