Hi! I am from India.... just updated my Xperia P to Jelly Beans and it's working awesome, better UI, battery life although not better but same as in previous versions... notification sound off problem is also resolved.

upgraded from htc one v coz its loudspeaker was low,but it was big mistake,as i played music on p its worst even than one v,plz dont buy we cant hear music or calls via loudspeaker :(

As for the heating its not a problem, its a feature :-) every smartphone gets hot when using intensively (same as any PC or laptop), because CPU and GPU consumes large amount of electricity (and intensive use drains battery fast.
Stand by time doesn't make much sense because it varies greatly depanding on usage pattern, so if your battery last for a day or two (when using phone normaly or just on occasion) its good as it can be, don't worry.

As far as I noticed, stand by time is equal or little better (awake periods are really short, much shorter then before) but battery consumption in active state is noticably bigger).
I have been using my Xperia P for few calls and couple minutes of surfing today, and for 15hr 58min I have 67% of battery left (1 day 14 hours predicted stand-by time left).

hello my friends I have sony xperia p has problem with the camera
Is there anyone here who has this problem?
Its a problem with the camera when shooting things with 8 megapixel with flash and get closer to the thing I show the half picture is dark. only with 8 megapixel with flash without flash its ok no problem
