[deleted post]It's hard to say what is the cause of your problem, but you might solve it with Battery Calibration program (from PlayStore). Your phone has to be rooted so, if you don't want to root the phone, you can perform battery calibration with System Repair and proper charge cycle (discharge until phone 'dies' then charge up to 100% without disconnecting charger, and charging for at least 4-5 hours.

After I charge my phone, the battery percentage on the status bar shows 100%. But when I go to power management section, and the battery usage graph shows phone is charged less than 100%. But if I restart my phone while charging then the graph and status bar accurately shows 100%....! Why is this happening?

Only way to fix it is to do Repair through PC Companion (you can install it from your phone) or Sony Update Service (better option) which you can download from Sony official pages.

You need to go to System update option in either of these programs, and after you get message that your system is already updated, you will get option to Repair.

Your pictures and documents (and everything in \sdcard folder will not be deleted but you will have to setup your phone again (synchronize your contacts with Google if you didn't do it before).

You already got explanation about rooting, just to explain a little more: By default, regular user of Android phone doesn't have maximum privileges. This is done in order to prevent viruses and malvares to eventually change important system data.

Equivalent in PC world would be Administrator rights for 'root', and User rights for regular user. Usually you access your PC with User rights, and if some of your programs need to access system data you have start it with 'Run as Administrator' option, otherwise it wouldn't work.

There are some useful programs on PlayStore that wouldn't work (or at least not up to full potential) without 'root' access, like firewalls (regulating what program have permission to access GSM data or WiFi connection, system backup programs, CPU speed control programs, browsing system folder, etc. And most importantly, without root you cannot flash custom ROMs.

I't looks like your phone is network locked to some other operator, but if that was true, it wouldn't register in first place.
