i have read the review of xperia s and it is very encourging, you may find it as your new phone.
frankly i always thought that xperia s was just done quickly before sony bought the old company sony ericsson but seems that i am mistaken.
have a look on it no single mouth word was said on the review and i hear new opinion that the battery issue is fixed and it lasts for 3 days.
the only thing that set me apart from xperia s is its size when i put in in my pocket i feel it is quite large i hope they can put what is in xperia s in 4 inch but seem it is not possible right now from technical point.
also i haven't tried xperia p in my pocket since it is not yet out in my country but it may have the same feeling in my pocket
anyway good luck in your choice and it is wise to be away from xperia p

Just read the GSMarena review... Very low speaker, terrible battery, no ICS, no memory card, microSIM only. And obviously from the video samples, autofocus has problems too.
Was hoping to buy it, but now definitely not the phone i want. GS2 will be a better choice for me.

I am really disappointed by the battery life. Being a corporate user and constantly on calls and mails, I really need decent power. Nothing spectacular... but atleast a guarantee that i will last a 12-hour day in office without having to worry about battery.
I think the arc s is probably more relevant for me than these pretty looking nxt series of phones. or Sola.
Perhaps I should wait for Motorazr maxx anyways...

Recently I purchased this phone. It looks great. Works great. Display is superb. call quality is good. Performance wise good. But...... It cant bear a fall from 15 centi metre height. My phone's bottom edge got permanent damage when by one year old baby slipped the phone from her hand barely half feet height. very dissapointing quality of materials used by SONY. Brushed metal is used by SONY in this phone is really weak and cant bear any fall.

I am also rooting for Motorola Razr Maxx as an alternative now. If that phone is priced under 30000 INR, I will probably prefer it to everything else. Anyone knows when it releases in India?

riff, 01 Jun 2012I'm ready to buy new phone...so this phone xperia P or gala... morei think u sud buy xperia p since itz value 4 money n itz new i had galaxy s2 but itz been around 4 more den a year n also no point of payin 4k more for almost same kinda ph d only difference between s2 n xperia p is d screen size n d processing speed which is only .2 more in s2 n also d screen size which is 4.3 on s2.but if u willing 2 pay 4k more em sure u wont b disappointed after ownin d worlds one of a tym best smart ph since s3 is arrived.thanks

I have bought this phone for about one month. A new mior update was just released. It fixed the screen issue...original one is a little bit yellow. And it improved the battery life but not very much since only 1305 mAh... However, P is really a nice phone with very smooth control. AND it is really beautiful, the metal texture is just like my macbook air.
