AnonD-44008, 10 May 2012still wondering about xperia p position whether it is mid r... moreObviously this is a high end phone (Exmor sensor, full HD video recording, Bravia engine display, 1 Mb Ram...) as an Xperia S in smaller size. This is emphasized by its metallic body. Hence the high price. For a cheaper mid range phone the Sola is a more appropriate choice.

Will the Xperia P have Mood lighting like the Xperia U? Or is it just the U?

Xperia P battery specification should be changed...bcoz xperia u and xperia sola which has smaller screen than xperia P possess same processor and same battery power.
1305 maH Battery will be be suitable nly for xperia u and sola......atleast increase battery power for P...

Great phone, Parfect sized, an amazing display.
        Battery 1300 mah (don't mind)
        6 hours talktime (great)
        80 hours music playback (brilliant)
4 hours continue video play (great)
        Dear friends
It shows Nova Thor Processor ± Whitemagic Display
Consume less power. So, no need extra mah battery.

Apparently the White Magic tech will save a lot of power usage thus saving battery power? Let's hope it's true!

AnonD-44008, 10 May 2012still wondering about xperia p position whether it is mid r... moreThis phone can do all the things other "high end" smart phones do, Quadcore is overkill just a waste of battery power, xperia p has better chipsets than xperia S clocked at 1Gh so performace wise will be the same as his big brother xperia S! the only bad thing is no sdcard and unremoveble battery.

still wondering about xperia p position whether it is mid range or high end.
almost all pages say it is mid range with no comment from sony.
but when you come to check price scheme of sony
you will find xperia p price the same price of xperia s and in some cases it is higher as now xperia s is 3 months old and its price is going down in following months.
              really don't understand

Screen in the P + U8500 chipset are said to be leaders in the field for power efficiency... it's 100 mAh less than the iPhone 4S, I would expect a fairly typical battery life.

check samsung s2 galaxy and search for battery you can see that many owners are not satisfied at all even with 1650 mah.
it all depends on tweaking that the company can do with the software and the phone, it doesn't depend only on capacity of battery , you can have 2100 and still poor battery performance

People who got this fone should charge the fone for 3/4 days and then post battery life experiances, a new battery is always week the first couple of charges!

Battery 1305 mAh for such a multimedia phone is a joke....even the super small Xperia mini has nearly the same with 1200 mAh ! and GS3 has 2100 mAh...
With no user removable battery, no memory card, and high price i may as well get a GS2.

xperia s was in my hands from around 1 week and it was quite big and somehow weighty on the pocket.
i wonder how can someone handle phone with more than 4.3 inches?!
i hope tha xperia p will be good phone with good battery as it has quite just the right dimensions

Well im going to wait for the battery test at GSM arena, if it looks bad im going for Xperia U or Sola, and if those have bad battery then i just have to take the HTC One S, even if its way too big... :(
