Save a fake contact with common English... moreTried it, but got unplanned call from my wife, and ringing wasn't lagging but Phone app hanged (system reported that Phone app is not responding), answer swipe didnt worked as usuall, and after 7-8 seconds call was answered, but phone was still ringin.
So it's safe to conclude that it's a system bug. Report it at official Sony support forum.

But I don't get the notification mes... moresame here man.. tried a custom rom too (JB moonbreaker), and still facing the same problem.. u mite have noticed that tone is there when u receive message on viber. but nothing else.. now ial try uninstalling viber and then see..

dude sandeep, I think that I saw ur name when I was going through the s2 opinion area. thanks a lot bro. I'm a sony fan too. but I like s2. however I think it's better to stick to my SXP for a while and see if could sony come up with something interesting and mid ranged. and also bigger than 4 inchers!

This phone is good!!! But I don't get the notification message tone at all!!! Unless I restart the phone I get the notification tone just for some time and again it goes off!!! Is there any way of solving it??? Pls help me :-(

Namita, 03 Jun 2013yes, same problem on my set too, as i updated it, there ar... moreIt's not Sony problem, same is with other smartphones or even PC-s, especially if you tend to install bunch of programs (particularly system utilities).
Backup your phone, do Factory reset, then do repair from PCCompanion or SUS, restore google account and install only programs that you really use on everyday basis, and your Xperia P will be smooth as butter.

:):):):), 03 Jun 2013why is my Xperia p can't landscape mode and tilt I already ... moreSony Xperia stock launcher (system app showing apos, shortcuts and widgets) doesn't support landcape (except when charger is activated) so if you need rotation install 3rd party launcher (holo, noval, zeem etc).
