Is the JB update better or not than the ICS? What are the bugs in it? Are there any? Is the 8mp+flash bug on the ICS fixed in the JB update? May I also know hows the battery back up? Lastly, does anybody know when the update be available in SE Asia? Particularly here in the Philippines? Thank you in advance for anyone who would answer! :)

When answering on forum through phone stock browser you cant move text cursor, you can input it somewhere in text, but cannot hold it and position it precisely (with magnifier), that doesn't work at all.
Also, it is still impossible to login to official sony support forum!!! :-) Can be done with alternative web browsers.

My illuminati bar got changed by service center and they also updated my phone to jb but worst thing is I lost all my apps and games as I have not took backup and I also lost my contacts but there are installation files of many apps in my phone but I can't install it the error comes of no certified app and my notification light for call is not working just had few hours of jb ya but I feel like its smoother and better than ics but I will miss notification light a lot.

Sony xperia p is a phone among worst 5 battery performer ever created so far.So think before buying it.While i was on gingerbread battery backup was 5 hours with continuous use.When i updates my phone to ICS backup came down to 4 hours with continuous use & now after jellybean update my phone hardly survive 3 hours with continuous use.So if you really wan't to buy a new phone than go for Xperia SP.Xperia P Suck.

Receiving the calls is OK for me, but calling is totaly slow, from pressing the Direct dial form the screen, it takes 5-6 until it actually calls the number.
But, I had same expirience under ICS, so it might be problem related to something user installed, but I have no time to reinstall it completely.

I upgraded to JB build # 6.2.A.0.400, and since then although everything else is much better and smoother, there is a bug:
> BUG: Phone app, dialer laggy, even when i receive calls, the phone doesnt ring for a while, then i swipe to receive, it doesnt connect the call, it hangs, then it starts ringing, and at the same time connects, meaning the phone is ringing while the call is connected. and after about 12 seconds it becomes normal.
kindly reply ASAP to guide me through this fix.

AnonD-92902, 06 May 2013Hey maxym.......that illumination bar is repaired by the se... moreTry pressing the bar near that LED (from both sides) in the dark and see if light get stronger, if that is the case, laminated parts are not glued properly and you need to service it again, if not than you just didn't have luck, sometimes LED intensity is not the same for all three LESs.
