Ive heard that the battery life of the Sony Xperia P is not the greatest, how man hours can u used it on average with moderate use of apps and a bit of browsing. Also is the JB update out in Sri lanka?.I like this phone and hope to buy it soon so pls help me. thanks

Go to menu>settings>apps>all there are some that can reduce drastically the power comsuption and performance. Try turning off apps like 'AASTOCK', 'EA Games' and 'ANT +' that you'll see this won't happen again. My battery drains after 2 days with normal usage (music, apps, wifi and other stuff).

p... moreActually it was relesead in april, 24. If you cant uptade yours contact Sony. You can easily update using Sony PC Companion or even on sony mobile website.

Everything is good except battary life.Its too bad. I just bored with the battary problem. Even if i left it by full charge at.8pm then it finished by night. what can i do for that? I think sony authority should take some initiatives to solve the problem.

hey guys, I just update my xperia p to jelly bean, jelly bean is quite smooth running on xperia p, but the battery life is not change at all, it's still drain very fast,even I'm not run any task on the phone, the battery still drain every minutes,it's not really good. sorry for my bad English. thanks.

I advise to download the data in apkmania. I had the same problem before then I downloaded the data again in apkmania & Asphalt 7 is running smoothly in my XP now.

A device???is it good or bad!When you root your device nothing special happens, you just get root privilege on phone OS (if you don't know what is it then you probably don't need it), meaning you can activate firewall on your data connections, you can see system folders in your smartphone and change system files, etc.

Has all the apps a perso... moreLarge battery consumption for using GPS is not specific to Xperia P, every single smartphone that use GPS will drain battery quite fast. That's why you usually have smartphone connected to car power cable when using it in the car. (when you are on foot or on bicycle that's the other problem, but it's same with other smartphone).
