AnonD-999151, 12 May 2021is there really any reason to get this now? 1 II now has it... moreI think many people misunderstand. The differences is that the Xperia Pro can connect to HDMI output directly, while other Xperias (like the Xperia 1 ii & 1 iii) require a UVC capture card.

is there really any reason to get this now? 1 II now has its key feature (and iirc 1 III is getting it too), you just need an hdmi to usb-c adapter. the sorta rugged design is cool but there are surely cases for that.

This thing must be some kind of joke? Ok its for camera enthusiasts but it doesn't actually work. A pc mag reviewed one of these and its 5g connectivity was intermittent and the camera wouldn't work properly and the software was throwing up errors. $2,500 is what this monstrosity costs. Youd be better saving your money and getting a regular Xperia flagship that actually works. Id be more than upset if id bought this for so much money only to find out its killer features dont work 😂

For everyone complaint about the price go and find a 4k OLED view finder I promise you it will be more expensive and have less features

This phone as a Snapdragon 865 while ... moreits not supposed to be highest end bleeding edge phone, like you said, it is supposed to be a 4K viewfinder, it can send files to your cloud via 5G in real time, it can stream on the go on Twitch or other streaming platforms, and it can be a battery bank for your alpha camera, it has a microSD slot, a big @ss vapor chamber cooling solution, and micro-HDMI. its a professional tool meant to be used with an Alpha camera, but apparently SOME PEOPLE dont seem to understand that

Kosova, 13 Apr 2021You have so much lack of technical understanding... I actua... moreHe is actually right. This phone as a Snapdragon 865 while the Mi 11 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra have Snapdragon 888. Also, no one wants a 4K display and less battery.
Mi 11 Ultra and S21 Ultra have 5000 mAh battery while this one has only 4000.
Both Mi 11 Ultra and S21 Ultra have 120Hz, 1440p display. But this only has a 4K display
The S21 Ultra can go upto 16GB RAM.
This phone is very heavy and thick. I understand that this is used for a viewfinder for sony cameras. But if that's the case, the specs should atleast be the latest.

3000 dollars for this?I would rather by a S21 ultra and mi 11 ultra from 3000 dollars.
