- Overheating, serious... moreAbsolutely you would hate the phone because your not a professional Photographer.
With all reviewers on this phone no mentioned of overheating as you claimed perhaps you missed the simple use

super high price not even 16gb of ram only 12gb not 2tb storage only 512gb
well at last it has just one snapdragon 888
well ok so camera is why you buy well this smartphone has the best main camera its overkill however selfie camera is better on the far cheaper Asus Zenfone 8 Flip
can never life up to the asking price bad value for money and is a very unbalanced smartphone 6
sony phones are good but this smartphone is just silly if u need a camera this good you can plug a camera into the smartphone head phone jack
sony should focus less on camera more on specs to run the 4k 120hz screen

I have this phone and I hate it..
- Overheating, seriously this is the biggest issue. It gets hot so easily and no matter what it's always hot. You can't use the so called "amazing" camera for longer than about 15 minutes because of it.
- Battery drain, this is seriously such an issue and I don't care what anyone says about how Sony marketed the phone, the drain is absolutely horrible. 3 hours of screen time and browsing with a single SIM and some bluetooth music and I have lost 51% of my battery. That is so absolutely unacceptable. My older Mi 10T Pro on the other hand loses about 20% of its battery.
- Camera, it's slow. Really slow to take photos, slow for the camera to start up, and it has absolutely NO macro capability whatsoever. You simply need to be MINIMUM at arms length distance to take an even slightly clear photo. The physical button is far too sensitive (how can you get worse from the Xperia XZP's button which was perfect?) In addition the camera apps drain by far the most amount of battery, literally 68% PER HOUR!
- Charging speed, it takes forever for this phone to charge and I do not consider 30W "fast charging". Again, my Mi 10T Pro which has a 500mA bigger battery charges from flat to full in about 35 minutes. The Xperia Pro-i takes about 100 minutes by comparison...
- Price, it's just a rip-off, especially as you are paying for basically only 120fps 4K, some gimmicky cinema video filter app, and a 4K screen that is not really ever 4K but even lower res than most 1440p phones.
- Accessory pricing, want to use the camera for vlogging or get a bluetooth remote for it? Well those are €200 each and if you want the microphone also it's another €200.
- Stupid things, why is LDAC not the default codec chosen on Bluetooth for compatible devices? Even my Samsung Tablet knows to do that... Why does it even get warm at all? How come the front camera is only 8MP and has never changed when we have 40MP front cameras on eg. Samsung phones? How come the fingerprint scanner fails so often and quickly and makes me wait 30 seconds to try again... Why is the flash so dark, why is the screen overly bright on auto and how come the reception is so bad? I get 5 bars on my Xiaomi 10T Pro and only 2 bars on the Xperia.
Since when did Sony turn into Apple, but worse? God I wish I could return this phone... I'm stuck with an €1800 hole in my wallet now... at least I can pray that some software updates will fix some things.
Xperia never again.
