Really? all the sky are super bright blue with the sun with a orange and purple tone?
I wonder if the super process photos fans knows we can get the same result editing our Xperia photos but they never can get a photo with real colour on a Iphone or Galaxy?

This is how someone knows you are ignorant and should not be commenting. The materials used in the camera are important. Glass lens > plastic, and high-quality glass makes a difference.
"we just look the end result"
Ok and we see more natural-looking photos and better colour accuracy from this phone.
"When the end result(photos) look bad, we call it a bad phone period"
Define bad? Natural-looking photos? Less processed photos? Also, how do the photos of a phone make the phone itself bad?

How about you stop, you're so pathetic that you come to attack a phone without it being released yet.
"This phone is a flop and sale numbers will prove it."
You do realize that the number of phones sold doesn't mean anything if they make a profit off it right? You aren't that ignorant to forget what a company's goal is right?
"Most of the smartphone buyers are not that dumb anymore to fall into useless gimmicks."
Useless gimmicks such as? It has better colour accuracy and autofocus than any other phone, not being able to take pictures doesn't make the camera bad. They have a certain philosophy with their cameras and that's how they advertise it. You aren't the target market, so you don't need to concern yourself with this.

OnePlus user, 20 Nov 2021I get what your saying, but Sony Mobile screwed up again. T... moreThere's a few issues here:
"When will they ever learn to make life simple. From their naming Xperia Pro, 1 iii, Pro i."
The Xperia 1iii naming scheme is actually not difficult to understand, I don't get why people make a big deal out of this. The PRO is actually for professionals and PRO-I is also pretty self explanatory. Honestly taking 5 min to understand their naming scheme isn't hard.
"to it's a 1" sensor but not a 1" sensor."
It is a 1" sensor, that's not a lie. It might not use the full area, but you get to keep a lot of the advantages such as bigger pixels that normally require binning. Since you aren't using QB, you have a faster readout time with those bigger pixels and you have better colour accuracy as well. The processing on this phone is minimal because they give you the creative power to change the photo to how you want in post. That's their philosophy which many don't seem to understand.
"Since my Xperia Z3, I've been waiting on Sony to give me a solid reason to spend $1800US. "
You don't have to buy this phone specifically if you want, but you can ask the same question to other brands as well. Sony offers almost everything the other brands offer except an AI heavy camera. Specs are all the same for the most part and yet ppl don't bother asking why they should pay so much for it. At least I can get SD card expansion and a headphone jack with Sony.
The double standards on this website is one thing that's annoying, people don't understand how things work and then continue to make comments while others straight up lie about things that are not true.
The reason this phone doesn't use the full sensor is to make it slim, people don't realize how thin it is for a 1" sensor phone. If they decided to make it thick, do you really think that people wouldn't bash Sony for making it thick, the hypocrisy on this website is astounding ( not you specifically)? What is Sony supposed to do at this point lol, if they make it thick they get attacked, if they make it slim, they get attacked.

SuuperBaka, 12 Nov 2021"I get it, but really does it worth $1800? A 48MP binn... moreI get what your saying, but Sony Mobile screwed up again. They always have the best intensions with disastrous consumer results. When will they ever learn to make life simple. From their naming Xperia Pro, 1 iii, Pro i. to it's a 1" sensor but not a 1" sensor. It's like they are here to confuse potential customers into them just sticking with the simpler clear cut phones. Year after year Sony comes out with 'a Sony first', impresses us but simultaneously leaves us wanting. It has gotten a point where we now look forward to Sony events for the phone that we will never buy. Since my Xperia Z3, I've been waiting on Sony to give me a solid reason to spend $1800US. I shouldn't have to doubt myself before spending that kind of money. Im sure Samsung/Apple loves to see Sony prices. I squarely believe if Sony partners with Google and shares their innovative hardware, Google will make the best Android ever.
