I had purchased this Sony R1 plus about 15 days back and I would say that this phone is awesome with the feel of near stock android, fast charging USB charger, good design, good display, good camera and excellent audio system with good sound quality. Only minus point is that it lacks fingerprint and face unlock sensors which should have been provided in this price. Otherwise overall I am satisfied using this Sony phone.

this time update of oreo in r1 and r1 plus the problem of whatspp is resolved now i used my phone very well and it has good performance.

guys dont compare Sony with chinese bullshits. Oppo,vivo, xaomi are all bogus with lot of phone bursting issues. have u ever heard sony or iphone to explode . Chinese technology last for year or two after that no signs. Sony has tradition and whatever configuration they gives they mean it but chinese craps dont know weather they are giving right configuration or not. And using those brands is like carrying bombs in hand you never know what will happen Especially about SAR which these phone dont even know.

I am using it from 4 days. Don't compare with any Chinese cells. You will get what you will paid for. Everything is balanced in this new model. I didn't faced any Lags or battery draining. USB type C charging is incredibly so fast . At the end of the day , some juice still left. There are so many junks phone in the market right now . Especially Xiaomi or oppo or vivo . If you care about security and privacy , and stock Android , monthly updates . Definitely go for the Sony . Don't chant about RAM , Processors or whatever. When you'll use it then you'll realised what Sony is. I know , fingerprint sensor should be given in plus model but at least they provide in built encryption on external SD card ,so if you ever lost your Sony phone, no one , I say no one will use or see you data on the SD card. Or if you don't care about privacy or security then go for Chinese rants. This is my first Sony phone . Before this I used oppo , Micromax, Microsoft. Microsoft was premium, sturdy classy but now, Microsoft end the phone line-up. Hoping for surface phone from Redmond tech giant.

After updating to Android oreo the whatsapp is automatically crash.
