It's not like that based on my experience and I have used several Sony Ericsson smart phones so far. You can use it all day long unless you expect that you have a cargo truck's battery on it. For all having issues with SXS getting hanged or laggy after update, try doing a factory reset and wipe all your applications and data (after having their backup of course) and do the update re-install via PC Companion or Update Service. A clean install usually doesn't have any problem and results in a smooth phone.

AnonD-76366, 18 Oct 2012i have an xperia S since 13th of march , i am unhappy with ... moretry fixing it again with either Sony PC Companion or SEUS(Sony Ericsson Update Service) http://sony-ericsson-update-service.en.uptodown.com/ here. i'd rather u use SEUS as it's faster than SPCC. hope this helps! cheers!

i have an xperia S since 13th of march , i am unhappy with the fact that it freezes for no reason during calls , at first i thought the problem was the software but i updated it to ICS and the problem persists .Do u have any advice ????

I have a problem with my xperia s every time yo... moretry taking a screenshot and see if the red borders are still there. if it is, then it's ur system's problem. if its not there, then congratz, u have a major screen problem. to take a screenshot simply press and hold the sleep/wake button and volume down rocker for a second or so. send the screenshot to ur pc or any other device to view it properly.

hi........i bought my SXS 1 week ago.....it has !GB RAM..but mine is showing only 630 user available......do all the SXS had 630 RAM..?????
if no then tell me how increase my SXS RAM...???

AnonD-76254, 18 Oct 2012dude draining 32 % at android system is very high. the sc... morei've jz done a full wipe and formatted my phone. hope no problems persist this time. and also, i disabled many apps on my phone except system apps. i went to developer options and turn force GPU rendering and set my background processes to no background processes at all. so nothing can run in the background.

zabuza, 18 Oct 2012I meant Experia s: 1- lag lots and s2 no lag at all :)boy oh boy, u really need to get that head of urs screwed on straight! for as long as im using the xperia S or in my case, the SL, i have never encountered any lag problems. apps run so smooth like i've never experienced it before. fast and snappy, and YES it WILL be getting a jellybean update. its only the matter of TIME and also FYI, google has chosen this particular model as google's AOSP. next time do some homework before u come comment anything.
