I did the software repair and everything is good fo... moreYou can alwayz, actually should backup your contacts/messages/logs etc. And as it is advised that u should alwayz perform a factory reset after backup so there are several ways to do it. Sony is actually the only phone which allows you to backup and restore your contacts over your desired email ids and its pretty easy to do that too (i prefer backing up contacts in my email id). You can also use PCC for that. For sms/mms/logs i use smsbackup+ (its free).

Infact, in sony phones u can only get to do those. U can backup your contacts over net to your desired email ids. And also, u can use smsbackup+ for backing up emails/logs etc. U dont need to have an unlocked phone or root access to do these either. OFFCOURSE u can also use PCC for these works too.

The only problem that am having with the new update is just that sometimes some apps will take a bit long time to open up and ICS eats a lot of ram. Even the battery improved significantly over ICS then it was in GB
