AnonD-8686, 15 Aug 2012Then do u have any idea of how to download games from play ... moreDude unfortunately Vodafone Mumbai doesnt support service provider billing hence has to be on credit cards.....for asphalt7 it keeps verifing liscence before u can play and when you do that best to be on WIFI or 3G as GPRS speeds so slow that it wont allow the DRM liscence verification to happen fast enough for the game to start.

Here are your points opposed :-
1. I bought the phone on 13th july and upgraded it to ICS on 15th !!
2. Which samsung phones are you comparing ?? S2 ?? Hell its faster than s2, my brother has s2 and i have used it more than you imagined.
3. Camera is the best !! It performs poor in low light that i would agree but its already written on most sites so SEE it before buying, instead of moaning after buying. Use camera apps and it gets better :)
4.Worst audio output !! what were you hearing from before ?? Something out of the earth i suppose :P
5. Touch buttons just take time getting used to, i am using since a month and i dont even have to hit it for a second time even if i use it at midnight !! Take it easy bro !!
6. Micro sim has better reception if you dont know plus they are not gonna charge you millions for a micro SiM !!!
7. I never bleed to death by the CORNERS of this phone :P
And as someone said.. SELL IT.. go to your Samsung which has the WORLD BEST SOUND, WORLDS BEST CAMERA, HAS SMOOTH CORNERS, HAS BETTER RESPONSIVE BUTTONS, AND LIGHTNING FAST.. Enjoy !!

shrikant, 14 Aug 2012all the mobiles companies who so ever using Android OS are ... moreyes, this is really disgusting . many android phones may have fantastic features,but they have poor battery back up . I am also a victim of it . this is really a crime . every mobile company should keep this point in view.

'audio quality is worst i've experienced' JACK plz.
Supplied headphones are always poor for phones especially to reduce their cost n also i dont felt here any need to supply expensive in ears as most users (music lovers) have their own. Take me, i have SONY XBA-3 headphones.
SXS provides pretty decent soundstage while managing mids and highs separation (at an entry level mp3 level).
BASS feels very deep that completely fills ur ears n wud make u do head banging. Some distortion kicks in making BASS li'l lower at higher volume, not much though. If someone abuses its audio quality then i suppose he is comparing a PHONE to high end WALKMAN or COWON.
I wont say this will make u throw your high range DMP's but yeah its a good thing as (what u call) all in one device. Its audio quality is undoubtedly better than my SONY e373 Walkman, this is what i can say for comparison of its audio output.
As far as its camera goes, be satisfied from what one of the best smartphone offers ya. Hey, it haven't got Xenon flash, what did u expected (a professional cam lol).
Let me tell u a pro camera has a bigger radius lens that allows more light to come in making pics more detailed reducing blurs.
If its the shape that mocks u then ok its ur opinion. I think its the most beautiful handset i've ever seen.

(I really didnt wanted to do that at all but just for having a taste of what android games are) i downloaded shadowgun and asphalt 7 for FREE .
Got lucky there that shadowgun is installed.
Shadowgun is doin great while asphalt 7 setup says 'unstable connection' every time i try to install it. I tried downloading asphalt 7 from torrent but they say i gotta root my phone. Like hell im gonna do that. Shadowgun is really a new experience for me (n im addicted 2 it) but the point is how should i buy games then. Any suggestions please?

Battery Backup is very poor . this is a crime.Google & Mobile companies should be prosecute.

it has been 3months since i get my first hands on this beauty,,i just had one problem at gingerbread it hangs,, but now its running flawlessly on ics and even on gingerbread..i love the quality of its camera though focus is sometimes annoying. but overall theres no reason to dislike this device..memory is more than enough i have a lot of songs videos, games, and photos captured with its camera..i really love this phone and does not even want to upgrade to quadcore since i dont need it..this has been my best smartphone to date,,i have used several dualcore devices but this is the fastest so far...battery life is really nice it last a day and a half from full to 20%.it takes just quarter an hour to fully charge and its great i wont bother waking upjust to charge your phone before leaving..and it was even priced lower than samsung galaxy s2..here in the philippines..it was a great experience being a sony fan since the kseries has been released..looking forward for another great sony device!

I had purchased an Sony Xperia s on 29th May 2012 from Sony center of Opera house, Mumbai. I submitted the phone to the Accel Frontline Service Center, Tardeo, Mumbai for heating issue. When I was submitting my phone I was told to remove the sim card, when I tried to remove the sim card, the back cover which I was using was stucked to the back side of the phone due to heat, as a result, there was scratches developed on the white line panel. I informed this to the customer executive person that this has happen in front of her and please mention this in the condition comment.
I submitted the phone on 16th July 2012, Work order no. - SE312AMT10651
I went to the service center on 13th August 2012, I was offered an cell phone which was having an double scratch guard and was having scratches on the back panel. This it self proves that the cell phone was not an new or refublished handset but was an old used phone. So I refused the phone I request you to please provide me help for getting a new handset as soon as possible.

All right guys, I'm due for an upgrade in a fwe days' time. Which one would you suggest I go for between the Xperia S and Xperia ion? coz it sounds to me like the ion is faster (data transfer), has a bigger screen and has a higher capacity battery; one that is detachable, I might add. But the S looks like a more feature packed baby...

Hi All,
I bought this mobile from Sony showroom Bangalore.
Here are the things I hate about this mobile.
1. Missing of ICS (Icecream sandwich) -
- While buying they promised we can update to ICS buty which is not the case.
2. Slower than rival Samsung Android phones.
- compared document/ html zoom in and zoom out features for this.
3. Camera is not so good as it should be for 12 MP.
4. Audio output in headphones - is the worst thing I experienced.
- First time I 'm seeing sony mobile having cheap quality ouput.
5. Home / back touch good for nothing - we have to try multiple times to get these to work.
6. Only Micro SIM is supported - we have to go to service provider customer center to get this.
7. Not at all friendly for holding in hands - corners will hurt you if hold firmly.
Here are the things I like about mobile.
1. HDMI I/O is good.
2. Camera captures fast - but again the clarity is not so good as it should be for 12.1 MP.
ALL IN ALL - I REQUEST NOT TO GO FOR THIS MOBILE - THIS IS MY STRICT SUGGESTION (after spending nearly 30K on this mobile)

It is not like you can hit them like you can do with one x or s3. I mean it's hard for me to use my index finger. But as you will get used to it you won't notice much .
