To all those who are asking about battery life :-
In gingerbread the battery was draining fast no doubt.
But ics update has improved it alot. No problem in battery department after Ics update.
Also i keep my brightness level to 50%+ my wifi is always on and i get around 18 to 20 hours.

Guys i wanna buy this phone but when i compared its video resolution with that of samsung s3, u can easily find the diffrence that even though samsung s3 is having a camera of 8mp its qulaity to capture image and video is far more better than SXS. can any one suggest me which 1 to buy? Also, after reading the reviews, i assume there is a big problem with the battery and other features of SXS.

i think the xperia s has a higher pixel density due to its smaller screen also has a better primary camera. if you want more information just read gsmarena's comparison of the two

[deleted post]Hi,it is normal for smartphones to heat up when in use as it has a lot of applications running in the background. It is also normal that the battery drains fast when wireless communications such as WI-Fi, mobile data or 3G and Bluetooth are being used. Or try repair your phone since it is upgraded to ICS maybe it is a software glitch.

If PC Companion is already saved on your computer, please be advise that you uninstall it first then reinstall the updated version prior to repairing the phone software.

Note: Please be advised to back up your personal data saved in the phone memory such as contacts, messages, files, photos and videos before doing this procedure to prevent data loss.

Here is the link to download the updated PC Companion: http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/pc-companion/

                                  To do a software repair:
                                  1. Open PC Companion
                                  2. Click Support Zone
                                  3. Click Start
                                  4. Phone Software Update
                                  5. Click Start
                                  6. Repair Phone

If the issue still persist, you may proceed to the nearest Sony service centers in your place.

                                  Hope it helps!

Does anyone know why this is happening ? Is there any problem with the handset ? And yes ive upgraded it to ics already
