had this phone for 3mths now. it's still amazing! best phone i ever had! best phone i ever used! can't complain about a thing, screen is amazing, features are amazing, quality is amazing, camera is amazing. If you're looking for a new phone, get this one! You won't regret it!!

I bought Sony Xperia S LT26i mobile two months back. In mobile specification they mentioned me that wifi direct option is present with the mobile. From the next os update to ICS I can use it. But still there is no option to use to use Wifi Direct. When i contacted Sony call center they told you have that feature but you cant use it. Silly answer. Sony is unfaithful to its consumers. When i asked in Sony showroom they told me that It might be available from next updated named Jelly Bean.

About the heating problem, all android devices have the same thing. Before using XS, I used samsung too, and I can tell you it's the same :)

Let's say the video is wrong, and S2 has better display. Can you tell me which part that makes S2 is "far better"? :)
From the design, I'd go for XS. All samsung's phones almost have the same models. From the CPU side, XS is a winner. On the GPU side, S2 uses the same GPU as Xperia P, which is lower than XS'. The battery, XS has bigger capacity. The only thing that XS lacks from S2 is SD card slot :)
Well I can go on all day long talking about this. You said it to yourself that "In case of camera and music, XS beats S2.", and I use smartphone because I need a good camera so I dont need to bring a pocket camera when Im traveling, and I use a smartphone to listen some songs too when Im bored. I dont use smartphone to only see the display :)
Anyway, it's XS section part, why the hell you post and bragging about samsung in here? Don't tell me the "AMOLED Plus screen" from your phone makes you lost your ability to read? :D Well, I can't blame you for that ;)

for the owners - is it true that only earphones compatible with xperia s are the original headset? i heard it has 3.5 mm jack but still it doesn't recognise any other earphones than the original coming with the device?

XS is a nice phone. Compared to galaxy S2, XS is so much better! When it comes to camera and music player, never doubt sony's big name!!!
Sony's pocket camera is the most people looking for in the market. And sony is the pioneer in the music player too with their "walkman".
I really love this phone, but too bad i hate the after-sales-services by sony. Mine got a yellow tint, and when i claimed to the service center, it took a month for them to get a new lcd for me! And after i got the new lcd, it has a yellowish color in the lowest part of the screen, it even gets worse when the phone heats up. I tried to complain to the service center again, and they only said "thats normal". Damn, i feel sorry for sony to have such a bad after-sales-service and stupid customer service in indonesia.
I think sony has lowering their big name by hiring stupid people to work for them in indonesia!

vishlya, 08 Jul 2012please explain how s2 is better than xperia si don think so s2 better,,if we are using normal function is almost same..mean like go app, go messagers..go download play store,,go w in internet...but let u know 1 thing,,if compare to camera n video record during day or night time,,,the s2 is poor n stupid 8mega pixel..

Frm India, Updated to ICS 4.0.4 s'day! All works fine.
But I am no more able to download apps frm google play. It says App cant be downloaded due to an error 403.
Googled it out and came to knw many others are facing this issue.
I dont blame SX S, it s frm d side of google. Hoping fr a remedy soon.
Until, I use wi-fi for app downloads
Other than that u can browse and use FB, twitter, blah blah... It all works cool with ur carrier data pack.
Phew!! notes is added at-last. Lacks default voice recorder
ICS UI rocks to d core, convenient.
Call quality is poor though. Expected this to be resovled, disappointed.

is anyone out there can help me how to connect my xperia S to Mac? After I've got the update (ICS 4.0.4) I can't connect them anymore even there's a sony bridge for mac. I can't transfer my music and video from my mac to my xperia S. Please Help, Thanks!
