You can update ur sxs in d uk check in pc companion I did 4.0 is very good so far.

it a mixing up with both connection types. First you should turn off wifi then go to mobile data connection setup then select a auto mobile data connection or edit connection without changing any data. Then restart the sxs . Problem sovled

i wonder why my SXS canot play video format from my sony HD camera ( format avchd m2ts 1080p frame rate 50p ) full hd from HX200v and even the file dont show in tumbnail . when i try to install MX player i can find in the folder and play the video but it plays very slow like slow motion video . anyideas why ? and solution ? please......Thanks so much in advance

Updated to ICS and now the sound settings don't work.
I'm stuck with "vibrate on touch" and all the stupid sounds the phone makes on. That annoying voice over, dial tones, touch sounds, etc. It's horrible. Changing the settings in "Settings>Sound" does nothing.
Anyone know how to fix this?

I have my Sony Xperia S upgraded to ICS.
After the update, I am unable to open "Albums" in Walkman. Whenever I click on Albums in Walkman, I get an error message saying "Walkman stopped working" and then it closes.
Any pointers Please

Xperia S is really great phone
But Sony disappointed me very much.
In specification they mentioned Wifi Direct but that feature is missing in mobile. When i asked Sony Showroom while seeing demo the device they told me that ICS update will bring those features to you. You need not worry about it. But even after updating to ICS no option to access WIFI DIRECT

In GB battery doesnt drop like this.
But in ICS it drops like hell.
Your device is not probed one.

comparing SONY XPERIA P's batterly life(1305 mAh) = 80 hours of music play while on SONY XPERIA S' battery life(1750 mAh) = 25 hours of music play.
isnt it supposed to be that SX S should have longer battery life in terms of use on music play than SX P?

It is working grea... moreMaybe you have bad signal you network dosnt work properly 3g only works when theire is good signal becourse if it works with wifi than it maybe is you network 3g works only properly when you are in the center of the town but outside the signal drops down thats normal so you theire is nothing wrong with xperia s you can check the signal go too setings scroll down and tab on about phone and theire you find it if that dosnt convince you go to a sony center they can help you

Batteri... moreThx Acefire for the reply. to be honest, the phone was bought from another fella, he used it for bout 2 months. so i think it shall be fully charged.
i did charged it "looking at its percentage" to 100% then only i unplug it. i've used it for another day without too much playing with it (but WIFI still on for the whole day), the battery left 29% (9:45am) since i fully charged since yesterday about 1pm.
If the battery is not performing that well, can i send back to SONY service center?

I hate it when I updated my Xperia S to ICS because my free ram is reduced to 200+. Sigh...
