AnonD-57905, 30 Jun 2012 Hey guyzz, I notice especially transition like gng from on... moreYeah, even I went through the same thing... I had this prob on GB too.. Even when my cell is kept still without even a finger on it, I saw those transitions from one home screen to another.. And all those widgets keep opening by themselves randomly! I have no idea why!! Kinda uncommon problem!

          Two questions regarding contacts:
1- How can I create groups like Friends, family,...etc and assign contacts to these groups ?
2- Contacts has been synchronized once with facebook when I firstly started with the mobile and then no Sync. happened after that and the contacts appear with their old profile pictures on Facebook, any help ?

I know it's too early to discuss about Jelly Bean OS update for Sony's 2012 Xperia smartphones. Since Google started running Jelly Bean for their products like Galaxy Nexus (made by Samsung), Nexus Tab 7.0" (made by Asus) and their previous Nexus S, I hope Sony has already started their homework to make Jelly Bean OS available for their 2012 Xperia models the earliest possible time particularly for their flagship phone like Xperia S. Hopefully this time around, Sony is not too slow to update their phones to JB. Jelly Bean OS is the solution by Google to make Google Apps really smooth, fluid and faster thanks to thier Project Butter. At present Google apps make our phone laggy even those phone having the most powerful hardware as you can see lags in different areas like navigating to different homescreens. But Jelly Bean OS fixes this problem. Well, we will just keep our fingers crossed that Sony is one the first (if not the first) to upgrade their 2012 Xperia models (at least Sep/Oct this year?)

AnonD-60604, 30 Jun 2012Sir I have an Qus that LT26i (SI 1257-3114) Is it Originaly... moreSir, sure you can upgrade your phone. No need to wait for SI number. Some people have a prob upgrade using pc companion. If you experiencing the same prob, go for SUS (soner update service) and upgrade ur phone through it. I suggest you check first using SUS, if it says there is a new software for your phone, so i suggest you do factory reset, battery hold above 55% and turn off ur antivirus app. Then Just follow the instructions properly. It took less than a hour from download to installed. (wifi sugested)
Note: the upgrade will erase all ur personal data, contacts, apps data. (just do back up phne first) no worries data in internal storage stay remains save after ugrade.
                      Goodluck.

AnonD-49738, 30 Jun 2012hi guys i buy this cell phone 1 week ago and updated to ICS... moreWell did you upgrade ur phone to ics properly? Did u wipe all ur data and cache, etc, before upgrade? Did you update ur phone sw before upgraded to ics?
My suggestion is, "repair ur phone" using SUS (soner update service) if it says ur phone already has the latest software, then click on "repair phone" it will ask u to download about 365mb of file. And it will re-install ur software. And It should be fine after that.
NOTE: it will erase all ur personal data, setting, contacts, and apps data. Its up to you now.
                        Hope this helps

keLv, 30 Jun 2012wanna check with you guys. I've got this phone for about 3 ... moreThe battery is not yet fully "ready".

Batteries usually have to go through about a week of charging before their so called "ready" to hold charge.

Since you got it 3days ago, give the phone some time.

Also, if your WiFi is left on all the time, it will affect your battery life.

This phone has been amazing throughout..... with our without the ics update! There were certainly a few advantages on gingerbread but the ics update just makes it almost a whole new phone! And I completely agree that the Walkman and album apps are just extraordinary and the online mode for the both powered by gracenote is too cool.......... gives the player an edge above the rest! I would definitely suggest this phone as it hasn't given me any trouble yet and yes, the ics update is a must have despite all the heated up discussions!
