the phone in the blobal its very good, but the BATERY its killing me, always with the charger our the iron with me all day....

royee, 07 Jun 2012i bought the phone 3 weeks ago...the battery back up is ver... moreYou should have charged it for 16 hours first time after you've bought it. Try to empty it below 10% before recharging and then recharge it fully.
Keep the backlight at 50% or less (except when brighter screen is absolutely necessary). Turning off wifi, data and GPS helps but the screen is the monster power consumer. Controlling the screen is the key. Even though there is a light sensor up front - screen auto brightness is not effectively operational (while it works like charms on the big brother - Tablet S). Let's hope it will be in ICS update.

i bought the phone 3 weeks ago...the battery back up is very low, it doesn't even last for few hours when charged fully. how can i get rid with the problem.

Really really awesome phone! it won't disappoint.

Responsive
There are a few weaknesses though, minor in my opinion:
Does not have Android iCS yet
Back cover has a bit of a cheap plastic feel
Physical buttons slightly non responsive
Port caps hard to press back into place

Anonymous, 07 Jun 2012Is good to update the phone to ICS? will this afect the spe... moreI've got upgrade to ICS 4.0.3 on my Sony Tablet S that was originally on Honeycomb. It got smoother (even though it was smooth before), it got some new and fancy features and overall works nicer, BUT...
...BUT that tablet had weak wifi reception so I was hoping for improvement. Unfortunately it got worse. The reception signal is about the same, but it frequently drops it and doesn't re-connect even though it shows sufficient signal on the very network if was on a minute ago. I have to switch OFF and back ON to get it back! This wasn't happening on the Honeycomb.
So, what to say? We'll ALL probably upgrade anyways the moment it is available, but it is not necessarily going to be much better in the first iteration. Personally, I'm rather happy with tweaked Gingerbread which is already on Xperia S.

I want to know how long estimate hour for stanby t... moreRight now, my phone got 93% battery after 8.5 hours (wifi, gps, data all OFF), and a couple of brief calls (say 10 min talking time). In this way it should last 5 days. Display consumption in this mode is about 10%!
However, if I have all those ON, play and browse about hour and a half (per day) and talk more, then it lasts about day and a half. Display power consumption goes up (50-70%)
If all is ON, and I constantly play it lasts only about 5 hours. Display consumption in this way goes to over 80%.
In standby I think it should last up to a week...
BTW, after a month and a half I also got a hint of the yellow tint (once in a while when it heats up). In my case it isn't a big deal yet, but it shows now and then. I didn't have it before, so beware it may strike any time!
