I have for a week, I will tell you what is good and not better than:
Good:
-Back Camera 12 mega pixel:very clear and smooth picture when you show on your computer desktop.Best camera
-Front camera clear picture with skype video or record
-Fast processing
-Screen is color is natural clear best pixel 342 PPI.
-TV out
-32 GB internal
-Looking cute
*Lower than:
-Sound Headset is poor bass boost, can not compare to HTC sensation XL
-Headset has no control music forward or replay only one button
-If screen more bright consume more battery power
-Back flash camera is single tinny, unlike HTC double flash for night camera
-screen 4.3 is small better 4.7
-The 3 bottom touch screen is not sensitive need a little press on it!!!
-Multi media also link to facebook, I dislike that
All about are my experience comparisons.
I'm user these for s.o is not sure what to buy

Does any1 here used sony android phone before?
i really scare of buying phone which will be leftout without getting update firmware after1year. Exmple on bada, look at what samsung done to s8500 users. i hope that sony won't treat us like what samsung done.

Sony Phones are beginning to look like each other. Just like I-phones. Lacking inspiration to make intricate design. Id rather buy myself a bar soap and put antenna to it just like the old Alcatel phone. How about that? Intriguing...

Let's see: You have a camera and accompanying apps - so try that and enjoy.
Then, if you like social apps (I don't), there is skype, facebook, tweeter, whatapp... you name it - go get in touch with your friends (you can also call and sms them).
You've got Youtube and Internet - so go and enjoy.
Go to Google play and download "Pulse" and then select fields of interest and follow the news in those fields.
At the same place you can download a ton of free games (if you like to play) or useful office tools and do some business.
You can use Google maps to get you wherever you wanna go. If your data plan is prohibitive of large downloads on the road, go and download Sygic or Navigon then sit in the car and go!
In time, you'll get the idea and perhaps surprise me with some idea that I could follow?!

Also no need to ask which one is "better". In this particular forum most of us think this phone is optimal for what we need or like (otherwise we wouldn't/shouldn't be here). Do your own research and pick the one you like and can afford. No matter what anyone says here, you'd still be picking the one you like, so spare us from nuisance please.
Personally I like and thus own this one (Xperia S), and have no need to urge anyone to buy it. In fact I prefer that there are fewer owners of the phone I have. It makes my possession look more special to me... :)

PLEASE: Use search option to look through the Forum! This was answered at least 10 times before. EG. type "reset" in the search box and you'll get the answer within seconds.

just bought this phone a couple of days ago and man this phone is AWESOME. i was planning to buy the htc sensation xl or the sgs2 or sgs3 because, sony haven't released it yet. it's a good thing i waited for it to be out on the market. now i'm waiting for the ics update. can anyone tell me when will it be available?
