Simply amazing ever sony had come with...
Yes battery backup is less, when compared with other phones and those three feather touch keys are not accurate.
But still i love it a lot.... No regrets of paying 30k INR

Camera:
The sony has the best camera by far out of the 3. It has a whooping 12MP camera compared to its rivals which only have 8MP.
The Sony also boasts exmor technology which no other handsets have. This techology allows user to create smooth, high-quality images in low light settings, including night scenes.
Th pixel density of the Sony is far greater than that of the one x and the s2, 342 ppi for the Sony, 312 ppi for the one x and 217 ppi for the s2.
:) Sony still live up to being the best camera phone out!!!!!

when this phone came out,it was awesome, but with htc one x now also in the market, it makes this phone looks old. the price difference is not that big but the features are. too bad, i was really thinking about buying this phone.

Imrul, 28 Apr 2012I am hearing a lot about the bad battery life of XS. I dont... moreI own one.... I too don't use wifi and mine is a 2G connection.... So, if you do as said, with minimum brightness, it will last a bit more than a day...
A couple of days ago, I nevercalled or got a call, took around 20 pics and recorded 2-3 videos (1080p) and played Angry Bird for 30 min and it lasted a nice 1day 15hrs.... Also, the phone charges very quickly after the initial charging (very fast considering 1750 mAh)

I love this phone it looks so good in hands! Everything is thumbs up except for the battery though...last for 24 hours only when its seldomly used even low brightness and connectivity turned off.. if i keep on using it(games,wifi) it last only for like 6-8hrs! will the ICS update improve its battery life? just a thought...

try turing off the background data sync. the battery can last longer

Great phone, stunning screen, pretty awesome specs. However battery is terrible, mine only lasts like 2 hours on standby.

stop complaining about the battery life
it improves after 2-3 weeks
after 2-3 weeks it charges quickly like 0 to 100 in an hour

This phone is really good. screen is clear, processing is fast (browser speed is amazing).
I also use maps a lot and the location service is far more accurate compared to other phones. possibly the GLONASS helps a lot with this.
speaker is loud.
the only few gripes i have is the 3 capacitive dot buttons. the sensor isnt that accurate and i usually have to press/tap 2 to 3 times for it to work.
the back cover is also a finger print magnet (black version. i dont know with the white unit)
some apps takes a lot of RAM i think. maybe some Sony system apps running. it only gives me about 350-420 MB free RAM, considering that the original RAM is 1GB. missing around 650++ MB of RAM is a lot. I hope ICS update would free some more RAM to make it even faster and smooth.
and another thing, but this is just cosmetic, I wish that Sony didnt use the green Sony Ericsson logo at the back. they should've made it uniform to have Sony brand on the phone and trash any Ericsson traces.
overall I really Love this phone. I can live with the complains I have above. the positive aspects of this phone outweighs those gripes.
