[deleted post]ok u sent me a blog where 'XPERIA S' didnt stand a chance...ok good
Now tell me PLEASE 'why the hell on earth 'NOTE' is placed (6th) after 'GALAXY S 2' (1st)...Atleast u shud know that Note comes first,and oh yea pride of samsung ICS nexus is after so many worthless mobile,sish i can't blive this,
Thank god 'The XPERIA S' isn't there to be 'INSULT'

AnonD-38108, 02 Apr 2012It has been more than a month since i bought this amazing p... moreI agree with u in most of what u said but I need to correct 2 things ,first :there is an issue in the capacitive buttons and it is not because people press the icons on the transparent bar but because you need to press exactly the 3 small dots which I and many others found it difficult .
second:top rating in gsmarena means nothing and it mostly happens due fan boys wars,and as example for that the original samsung wave stayed on the top for more than 6 months but then every body discovered that it was a big failure.

[deleted post]True the SXS can't be found! I also wonder but I really wouldn't rely on plain text alone. There are tons of videos on youtube comparing almost any high-end phones with SXS and the SXS did a great job! IMO if you are really a fair person I wouldn't just post this like if it was the only comparison ever made with smart phones of 2011-2012.

It has been more than a month since i bought this amazing phone. From the first time I've put my hands on it, i really felt i'm holding a piece of art.
The design: is very unique, soild & sexy. The back is curved to make it more comfortable in hands. The plastic isn't light & weak at all. it has a strong plastic cover coated with anti-stain black matte layer which really feels good in hands. The transparent bar down the phone is giving the design an iconic shape which make many people ask me to hold it or even ask which brand this phone when they see the phone in my hands...it catches the eye. In the same time it's the antenna which provides a better perception. If you received a call in dark you'll see the transparent bar lights go on..it giving the phone a very cool look.The side buttons & the lock button are also well reachable.
The Camera: It's totally different & cannot be compared any other cam out there. Quality & speed are well provided by this cam in the xperia s plus the 3D panorama & multi-angle capturing which makes you can have a lot of fun with it. For the ongoing capturing videos or pics , this is the perfect camera phone for it. you can capture a photo in less than 1.5 secs from sleep mode. that is a huge advantage in my opinion to be in a 12Mp cam. i used that option a lot which called the "Quick launch" mode & it gives clear photos. the cam got a numerous options & all works so well like smile detection, auto focus, image stablizer, metering, auto scene selector, auto flash with red eye reduction, white balance & much more..all these specs work very smooth & very effective giving a very sharp, clear & colorful photo.
Media: Sony has been well known worldwide for being the best in media. they had put their long experience in media in that phone. i really enjoy play my music on it. you'll also enjoy going through your music with the large Albums Art & 9 Sense Me playlists: Energetic, Mellow, Emotional, Lounge, Relax,Upbeat,Dance, Extreme & last one is changing automatically according to the time from Daytime to Evening to Midnight which is really amazing & making it so easy to pick up the right songs with the right mood without shuffling songs you don't wanna hear. The Loud speaker has the xLoud feature which provide louder & better sound through it. The Phone's music output is superb specially in my car with Sony Xplod 1000W sound system. The ear pieces come with it in the box aren't cheap or weak at all..i was surprised by the clarity of the sound & the power of the bass it provides . The pictures gallery is well organized with a very cool 2D view plus you can also sync your picasa web albums or google plus or facebook photos with ur gallery to view them easily in seconds without storing all these photos you got on the phone.
Connectivity: 3G data transfer is really fast & has a very good perception also plus the Bluetooth & Wifi perception is pretty awesome.
The Screen quality & touch are out of question. The Screen is razor sharp with 342ppi which gives u a unique experience with videos playing & gaming. The touch is highly sensitive & flows smoothly.The 3 main touch dots for home, back & menu are responsive unlike wut said or written but may be it confusing cuz u may think that u press the icons on the transparent bar.
Proceesor:1.5 GHz dual core processor..really fast with zero hangs or lags...compared to other dual core phones this is the fastest & it's proved on multiple videos on youtube & by ebery benchmark test...Sony has got the best out this dual core 1.5GHz processor which makes it a strong fighter to all the present dual cores & also a very good fighter against the upcoming A15 cortex cores & the quadcores & that also have been written in multiple articles by different reviews.
UI: what i really like about it is wut sony added or customized or changed in android gingerbread 2.3.7 to make me enjoy the android OS like in calling..contacts, gallery, widgets, preinstalled apps, the "Timescape", music player & accessing it from sleep mode plus it also makes me feel like its almost an ICS may be some say it isn't much different than other gingerbread in other phones...but for its really different, really amusing & make things easier to access & to use.
NFC: Fear Field Communication which is not optional like other phones...it's available in all Xperia S phone in all markets. It works with Sony SmartTags which can open and/or close multiple apps or connectivity tools in the same time in 1 sec with just passing the phone by the SmartTag. U just adjust every tag u got with the tasks to be done & that's it. it can be used also in paying instead of visa cards & that is already going in just few countries right now but will be worldwide in a short period.
Business: The Phone also comes with Office pro suite & scan to pdf app plus Adobe reader which makes it also a perfect business phone.

Just took the phone on contract. The graphics, the camera picture quality, video quality HD is outstanding compared to any other phone. Its one of the fastest phones on the market I love it! Finally you can play games, watch downloaded videos, movies ect at an excellent speed. I agree 32gb, why would anyone need more? transfer your files that are building up on to a computer.

Somebody please let me know whether the Navigator of this phone works without active data connection like Nokia? This is very important for me as in UAE mobile data package is very costly. So I need a phone which should guide me without data connection. Please...please ....inform me.
