New Buyer, 30 Mar 2012Guys, I'm willing to buy either Xperia S OR Galaxy S2 tomor... moreGs2 is a gr8 phn in all aspects with only major difference is resolution, pixel density is 217 where as xperia s has stunning 342,but that only matters in only yours preference besides gs2s screen is super amoled plus .The camera should not be considered as a great upgrade as in my experience photos look the same res,only cons are gs2 produces cooler color thats all ,video recording is same.you will get 20% more ram in gs2 besides its benchmarks are slightly better.
I think gs2 is too light and plasticy and a little less beautiful than xperia s but that too is your preference.
So resolution and build quality is the first thing to judge in your view when you are buying anyone of them .
My only suggestion is only buy gs2 if you get it less than two third the price of xperia s.

my only point is why sony not used s4 chipset i dont think s3 adreno 220 can handle 720p pixels hd games will run at barely 30 frames

excellent phone ,excellent design ,specs are really getting me frustrated(720p screen especially) as i dont have a single penny to buy it ,i own xperia arc and id like to give anyone some advice who wants to buy it. going through gsmarena review i find the weakest point is its still camera quality(its far below the n8 of my friends) and at some point arc is better in stills.sound quality has some distortion and poor stereo crosstalk reading.rubbish earphones included,i use ultimate ears.video recording still at 30fps .I bet it wont give battery backup more than a day and a half on heavy usage,sgs 3 is another gr8 phn which may come near to it but still dont buy anything without going thru reviews.

RUINED, 31 Mar 2012This phone is ruined by its software bugs... camera prob... morethe unit that I have tried does not have these issues you've mentioned,so this means that whither u have a defected unit (contact sony) or u r lieying

The full reviews out, pretty extensive but unfortunately doesn't talk about the battery life which seems to be the biggest and most common problem faced by all.

This phone is ruined by its software bugs...
camera problems, lockscreen warps, force closes, internal storage defects, I can't believe this phone, I really can't... waited for a long time and what I get is this...
PLUS hardware problems:
Capacitive button is unresponsive AND the infamous yellow tint " screen gate " issue...
SONY WHY? WHY? WHY?????????????

hello peeps, i just got xperia s today and OMG i just cant find a word describes this truly amazing phone. for the record i've had galaxy s2, galaxy note, galaxy nexus, iphone 4 and motorola razr and between all of them i'd choose the sony anytime any day.
i did all my studies and saw, read all the reviews before buying it and i defnat made the right choice. if you are confused of which of the mentioned above to buy GET THE XPERIA with no doubt. very fast, absolutly stunning camera with features will fill all your needs,amazing display,plenty of storage, looks descent, great sound...etc.
if u have a question dont hasitate to ask since am an andriod geek :D

New Buyer, 30 Mar 2012Guys, I'm willing to buy either Xperia S OR Galaxy S2 tomor... moredefinitely the sony xperia s! i've was able to test out the both of them and had a friend who has the sg2 and the xperia definitely works better and for the value of price it is amazing!
