Anonymous, 05 Mar 2012I just wanna ask if ever you had both xperia S and P on you... moreI prefer the look of the XS' screen over the XP due to the sheer pixel density of the XS, there's a lot of finnese to it

The XP does feel good, but I've only held it that once for well under 10s

Will get to play with the XP again in due time, in maybe a few weeks or so, just not any time too soon

Anonymous, 05 Mar 2012one year old s2 is far better in tearms of speed and perfor... moreThere's more to a phone than specs alone
Optimizatons play an important part in bringing performance out

On stock ROM, the Xperia S is faster than the SGS2, and has better battery life despite having a higher resolution screen

Speaking of which, the screen reproduces images in quality miles ahead of the SGS2, including whites

A more powerful GPU on a phone is kind of moot, considering games that look as good as Real Racing 2 run perfectly on the Adreno 205

Adreno 205 being slow? Name me a game that has managed to slow the Adreno 220 that didn't slow the Mali400MP down, benchmarks aside

To put things in perspective, the game Order and Chaos online runs better on the weaker Tegra2 platform than the Mali400MP, as can be seen when the LGO2x and SGS2 were compared side by side, despite the Mali400MP being the better scorer in benches. This is where Optimizations play a bigger part than just brute force alone, and the A220 lies inbetween the T2 and M400MP

You're just another one caught in the numbers game

one year old s2 is far better in tearms of speed and performance...sonys hardwsre is very poor..adrenno 220 is very slow compare to the quard core gpu of mali400mp...its3 times faser than adreno....best of luck for sony with this phone ..no memory crd slit what a shame.

When you do share what's on your phone with your firend I think they will be close enough next to you to see the screen in an acceptable angle where this would not be a problem.

I dont mind the reflection when using outdoors because its your choice i mean you can always cover it a little or change your viewing angle. But what amazes me is the quality of the screen based on your picture specially the first shot. Really nice.
