The bottom is not wasted space its have mic, antenna.... its ingenious that with all those connections its still looks transparent.

The question should instead be why is this not using the MSM8260A that is being used in the HTC One S? The A version is a 28nm part which should mean much lower power consumption that the 45nm MSM8250.

you are right..they show us the xperia p so early....
xperia s advantage over p..
1. more power..(1.5)
2. bigger n sharper display ( 342dpi)
3. bigger battery capacity...and it is super charged..
4. 12mp and 1.3mp....( both are hd )
5. dont forget it has high definition screen...
white magic technology is the killer to the any amoled technology....
by the time when xperia p will be available in the market, sony xperia s should be cheaper.( end of june )
sony shall make profit with xperia p for sure..bcoz samsung will announce their super galaxy in that time( galaxy s3 0r galaxy sq2 )..
xperia s = audi
xperia p = lexus
xperia u = brabus
sony is a potential company...the problem is they (sony) is poor in their marketing strategy...

u knw i m seriously considering xperia s but then again. even if u settle 4 dual core instead of quad-core. its drops in the gpu department. the HTC One S is givin u Adreno 225 where as 220 in Xperia S.
N den its lauch is still not global.. i mean uptill when it will start shipping in india, we'll have quite a number of phone's in the same price range wid better spec's..
i mean commom man ...SONY Are u going 2 take a step UP?

Just see that worthless nokia has produced a 41mp sensor camera....You guys were best in overall sections and don't let them grab your fans cuz, you guys need to show them what u guys made off.....come on sony it's about time to show the world who we are....hope u gettin me and launch such devices that they should make them mad n don't leave a single chance to come in front of u.......Go for hundred thousand % perfect phone such that even apple should think a thousand times before their single move......Go for it SONY plsssssssss.....:-)
