The Xperia looks really GREAT!Probably the next best Android phone out there! Amazing design, awesome features.Perhaps it won't be cheap ,but it seems to be worth the money!

It's not unusual anyway in these types of phones to have that and then you can backup to your heart's content =)

Awesome looking phone and specs to boot, problem is why did they omit the card slot? I think going down the Apple route is a fail because what is likely to happen is when you get this phone on 2.3 Gingerbread and then upgrade to 4.0 ICS and needing to backup your apps and the phone memory as the likelyhood it will be erased! As per other android phones including the SE variants they had the card slot to backup your apps and data onto card so work that one out Sony??? you should of done your homework there!!!

Meaning that you can have some 60+ GB if combined with the phone's 32 GB internal memory, all in all without spending extra on a new micro SD? Do you get this logical thinking? And you complain about running out of memory after 6 months? Do you see the advantages of a card slot at all? Being able to swap memory cards when needed? Sharing large data to people via card slots of other mobile devices? No? You don't? You need help.

Some time i need more space and some time not.
No one know what they need how much memory they need, last time i have 16 GIG memory and fits me perfect for 6 months when i use more picture/video and aplications (like Navigation) i need more than 16 GIG and again i have to buy a 32 GIG card, so i spent 30,00 Euro for 16 GIG ultra and later 32 GIG ultra 70,00 Euro...............that's 100,- Euro after i buy my Arc.
That's why Sony do a good job with that.

Mobile phone models from 16GB to 32GB have US$100 price difference. Do the math. Even if i did get this 32GB unit, I don't mind having another an extra 32 or 64 GB (which is around the corner)! Imagine having a powerful mobile unit that has some 90 GB capacity of data and movies to go! Make some sense before commenting!

ali, 25 Jan 2012i totaly agree that amoled secreen are joke for world,far b... moreHD Super AMOLED screens can be set to a realistic rendering mode setting. Setting> Display> Screen Mode> Movie. Find out before concluding. Demo units at stores could be set on Dynamic or Standard mode, which are over saturated in colors. Those over saturations are so that you see the screen better against daylight.

The most realistic rendering is the movie mode. The most saturation is dynamic mode. I happen to had recommended 12 HD Bravia Sony TVs for a museum project yesterday. I think Sony has excellent TV displays. It's just that everyone should know HD Super AMOLED screens have "normal" less saturated rendering than what is probably being set at the shops. Keep an open mind, dear extreme Sony fans and "staff"'.
