It produces o... moreif what ur friend was saying is true ,sorry to say but he does not know how to use sgs2 there r many screen settings in sgs2 he must be using it with low brightness with standerd screen mode while u were comparing it with good for nothing s x arc that doesnt even have gorilla glass why dont u do one thing just read the review for sgs2 done by gsmarena for screen if u dont belive me again fact remains the same if u belive it or not .and stop getting fooled by "sony staff" there is no sony staff on these posts its just a blind sony fanboy like apple blind fanboy. c'mon guys use ur brains.

      where can we see true correct specs, i have read several and they all differ, i would have thought the sony website itself would be correct which i'm sure i read supports memory card and says doesnt have sms messaging ??

        I agree with "sony staff", compared to SAMOLED, its better compare all bravia engine equipped handsets with samoled. colors are better. and that's based on my experience.

I've got Xperia Arc and one of our IT got the Galaxy S2 and when we compare the color, Xperia Arc is far better and my friend was amazed and agreed that Xperia Arc color rendering is better.

              i totaly agree that amoled secreen are joke for world,far behind reality display,i checked many times side by side and amoled nothing compareble.sony is best of world in lcd,led,cameras,amazing vio,excellent walkman,great mobiles and amazing bravia engine,psp games.i always wonder on those people who buys samsung,think and go to reality.

                If you just look at the screen from Sony Arc, it looks 100 times better than any screen in the world with real collors and so on if men compare with cartoony looking Amoled screens.

                The Bravia or the X-real engine is te best tech, just look at the Sony's TV just beat every Samsung TV in picture quality.

                Only one problem, Sont TV are expensive compare with other brands but you will get best of the rest.

                  The battery on the most Sony device has the best performance than any other phone on the market, thats a fact.

                  I think the fixed battery is the best option, for example i never chance the battery and i think it can speak for the rest bunch of people.

                      Sony did a good job to pull out memory slot and put in 32 Gig in it. And i lt is cheaper for us.

I don't think you are the right person to be speaking this way even if you're a legit employee. I've been a consumer of Sony since the 80s and have owned 5 different models of Sonyericsson/Ericsson mobile phones. if you are in the executive level, then let me suggest some positive directions for some improvements:

                            1. Please do increase the battery stamina. We, avid users of your current and upcoming models have half the longevity of usage per charge.
                            2. Please do stop trying to emulate Apple's direction of fixed battery. We like to sometimes just change to fresh ones instead of plugging and waiting for hours in one place.
                            3. We would not appreciate much if you don't provide expandable memory slots. We were happy you have finally eliminated your original exclusive memory cards and embraced the micro SD, but please give us the slots to put in affordable micro SDs for large files.

                            Anyone else have suggestions? Let's hear them and post it on to "Sony Staff". He/she sounds like he/she can do something in Sony, "Babby". He/she did give us a Sony "employee" number, after all.

It's Super AMOLED Plus - it's not a b... moreyea, i am sony staff my ID NUMBER J6952487S. and u r rellay good joke babby. sony taken two awards in 2011.. 1. sony bravia technology, 2. sony exmo r camera. i know AMOLED is a feature but the same time compare AMOLED and BRAVIA pixel ratio: the amoled illuminating pixels a touch screen smoothness not play back brightness, contrast, and clarity. then finally compare that models galaxy s2, galaxy note, droid razar, n9, lumia 800, lumia 900 and xperia s , xperia ion. amoled beat bravia technology impossible babby.. first you will try to use xperia s (or) xperia ion, and then you love to sony....! i am sure.

                                    The Sony Xperia S has nice features. It should have better battery stamina. Have a look at the usage and standby times. It's half of what is normally for a smart phone.

It's Super AMOLED Plus - it's not a brand; it's a technology and feature among mobile gadgets. It's different from a backlit LCD where ambient light is always on which is needed to see the display. Super AMOLED screens work with self-illuminating pixels, and no ambient lighting needed. Super AMOLED screens are therefore more efficient in power consumption where pixels are needed only. Super AMOLEDs have true black rendering, where the backlit LCD has dark gray. The biggest HD Super AMOLED screen is with the Samsung Galaxy Note at 5.3" with a resolution of 800 by 1280 pixels. This is just to set things straight.

                                        if you need more memory, why not go for a notebook or an Ipad maybe,, cox dude,, this is a mobile,, and i think 32GB sounds fine for a mobile..
