I checked out the website..
Camera is not 12mp which is a heart breaking news..
But a rather usual 8.1mp..
It just took my excitement away! =/

Why does the internal memory specs says 16/32Gb , while i look into Sony website it says 1.5gb only

Looks like there's a new player in town :D That's more like it. Better design and much better specs. I hope this is just the beginning (of a beautiful friendship). Maybe a little more widen phone, like Samsung Ace or HTC Wildfire could be a good move. More width gives more space to see the internet sites when you use the phone vertical which is with one hand.

Im not buying SG2 shhhhhee wait... I want something different ahh SXS & its good looking and sxs is rich and I wana hangout with SXS not SG2. :)

Three things that i dont like in Sony Xperia S are:
does not have removable battery,
does not have expandable memory,
uses micro sim card.

Well, I should say I am a big big fan of sony, no matter what products they come out with (blindly)....and the one reason is even their rubbish products look great and performs decently compared to other brands......m not exaggerating here, but from personal use of lot of sony products which I own...and haven't been disappointed with a single one...hats off to sony for their design and aesthetics...the new sony xperia s is sure to rock going by their specs and the looks..rest assured, i will be the first one 2 pick it up from the stores when launced in india

roughly it will have same gpu perfomance with arc s,reason? it have more 1.5x pixel than arc s but still at least it will have better perfomance
for people who compare this with samsung
sgs 2 super amoled plus is clear winner here,just look at arc s lcd vs super amoled on sgs
for people who compare this with sgs2 gpu mali 400 :
mali 400 sucks cos it render in 16 bit thats why it very fast on benchmark, still the perfomance are not that good in real world... using chainfire 3d playing tegra2/adreno and power vr games on sgs 2 some of them lag and in term of visual 16 bit is little ugly

I own a samsung galaxy s2 ....and its a good phone ..........but after reading xperia's specs ,, I AM IMPRESSED by SONY ........!!!!
