adreno 220 GPU on this device is 2 times faster and better than Mali 400 which in SGS2.

The gpu on this phone is much better than the one in sgs2. I own sgs2 and i regret that i bought it. it lags to many times. But dont forget that the display of xperia s has 720/1280 pixel and much higher pixel density then compare to sgs2. so even if you put mail-400 it will still not have a easy time.

I just can't stand biased reviews and bashersl. Give at least some sort of credible backup to your claims before you burst it out. Compared to Arc S: Much lower 3G connectivity speeds,No expandable memory,supports only globally unconventional Micro Sim. Both have no Gorilla glass,limted to 1.3MP front facing,run a Jurassic age Adreno isntead of the Usain Bolt age Mali400,displays are poorer than Super Amoled,B.Tooth v2.1 + Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon r outdated_shud b like BT 3.0 + Exynos atleast.So d SG2 wins, followed by ion and lastly Xperia S.

how come Sony Xperia s and ion have the same weight of 144g then S should be a bit lighter with the smaller screen and non metallic back cover

But overally very nice phone indeed. If HTC or Samsung will not surprise us with some absolute "bomb" gadget during the MWC, then this is the phone to get. I'm really excited and waiting forward to March

Could have been better if it comes with an external card slot and with battery replacement. Lot of iphone owners face the battery problem.

Reasons are...
1.s2 got amoled ++ screen
2. S2 got 1.2 ghz speed..can b lverclocked to 1.8ghz
3. S2 can b expanded to 64gb wid micro sd card
4. Finally made by samsungs.
Hmm apart from this..if u still want to buy this phone just for 12mp camera. Then better buya good degital camera. Lol
