I've bought this phone from my friend for a year ago...in another word i didnt buy a new phone.until now i dont have any trouble with it...my sola is still ok.

Ajmngirl, 23 Sep 2013I bought this phone, not even a year ago but sometime aroun... moreif your phone hangs, press power button+volume up button simultaneously to restart your phone... you can root your device and clean to make it faster.. Anyone who needs help contact me at acmilankaka9@gmail.com

Dear all,
Likewise, my Sola also having the same problem. Dont forget, this phone comes with 512MB RAM and we upgraded it to ICS which i personally think this unit is not suitable for the upgrade.

hey xperia sola dont hang i also use a year ago just flash this firmware 6.0.b.1.564 and root your phone and download system app remover and remove apps you dont use like map,alarm,update survice etc.so your phone will be dont hang.

Phone works fine with gingerbread OS once i upgraded it to Ice cream sandwich it started hanging, slowed, started heating. Do not use this phone.

guys all low end android devices hangs..i too used sola it hangs a lot then i sold it and bought lumia 620...windows devices never hangs go for windows

I bought this phone, not even a year ago but sometime around at the ending week of September 2012. I was really happy at my purchase at that time. Sola was sleek and very nice at first, then not even a week old with me at that time, it hanged and didn't know what to do since it has an unremovable battery. Fortunately, that stopped for some time but a few months got by, of course it started getting slower and lagger and much worse, Just this July 2013 I think, I was checking my Instagram and it hanged. It doesnt respond to any buttons even the lock buttons anymore and it just turned off. The worst problem was I cannot restart it anymore. I cannot even charge it too. The line indicating that it was charging was not lighting so I knew I made a mistake buying this phone, but I still tried to open it so one day the charge light opened and i was happy that it's okay again but after a month, THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN. And now it is September, I can't open my phone again and I feel that it is already a BIG waste of money if I let it be repaired. It didn't even last me a year with this sola. Conclusion: I felt like I was fooled and I am very disappointed.

Guys dnt go with dis mob.. i just buyed dis mob nt even two month.. it hangs, heats etc totally waste

Pls tell me how to root my sola ? Secondly, maybe i will remove some of the Sony apps that comes with it. Have been using this phone for a year plus and now it hangs and lag a lot, maybe due to its 512ram and running on ics.
