manu, 20 Sep 2013i am using sola for the past 10 months.i bought this phone ... morewhat do you mean by du?? i have my sola for almost 1year and still it is good to go even it is drop several times and the battery life still reach up to 4 days.. yeah..

i am using sola for the past 10 months.i bought this phone after searching lot of review in this site.but i am disappointed with the battery back up.sony is cheating us by providing low capacity battery for this phone.recently i changed my sim to du and now iam getting good battery life.can anybody explain how it happenes?both connection shows full range.anyway i am satisfied now,but never buy this phone plssss.

removing system apps doesnt mean you can't use it anymore..(like FB). install later it from play store.. it will not be a system app anymore..

every android is a bit laggy..ofcourse sola too.. but its a midrange, anounced @2012. If you want to speed up consider this
1.Root your phone
2.Debloat(remove unwanted sony made apps)
3.Don't install any task/ram managers.Instead Supercharge(An executable script that makes your phone unbelievably fast)
4.You will never complain after supercharging

Stay away from this phone, it stucks toooooo much! I regret buying it! These are some reasons not to buy it! Of course there are more but thanks to a person on youtube who posted this i brought them to you.
Touch screen becomes hard to operate when connected via USB
Internet browsing is almost impossible because the keyboard takes ages to come up
Takes for ever to make a call and answer calls (soo much lag)
Have to power off and connect to wall charger otherwise battery wont charge up
Weak Wi-Fi signal and after a while it has a one bar and no internet connection (even if you are next to the Wi-Fi source) and if you try to switch it off then nothing happens it does not turn off!
Extreme battery consumption when data are on, battery drains for 19% to 0% countdowning in seconds!
Defenately, this phone is the worst phone and all these sony phones! AGAIN STAY AWAY! I need a anger management lesson. THANK YOU SONY!

The poorest battery life in the world. To worsen the situation, sony made the phone a non removeable battery. I regret buying this phone. I bought it because of the ICS update sony promised but I never knew that was a scam from sony because they never fulfil their promise at the promised of time.

Guys disable built-in apps from settings>app>.all app option and see the rocking performance ...
And I recommend to disable Facebook first from which u can see the big difference

xperia sola is a beautiful phone. i have a white piece. it is durable and is suitable for rough use. yes the ram is only 512 mb and 380 mb usable but its enough to run some hd games and casual games effortlessly as its a dual core chipset..i have rooted my phone and use a custom rom which is much better than stock which is quite slow after ics update

it hangs often. im bored. minimum 1gb ram is very necessary to perform a mobile smarter.

before buy check headset or handsfree orginal or not
box sticker printed model number of headset
dealers has removed orginal headset and put local one into the box ,
be carefull
check quality with equlizer before buy handsfree

gprs download speed slow, compare with other device
i used in 2g area over GPRS. fb pages load very slow, but im using sony ericsssion txt CK13I fb pages loaded fast than sola, no 3G coverage in that area

if YOUR area dosent have 3G dont buy this,.
i have used in 2G areas , very bad data speed, compaird with same time same place with other device, in sppecification mention supported 100kbps, but actually that not
when using in 3G area thats better than samsung devices
non removebale LI ion battery. expensive , if u replaced

i am planning to buy a sony xperia sola.now a days i am using sony xperia neo l. but it is too slow. i think sola is better than neo l. if u r using sola please tell me what r the problems will rise while using it.
