Their software, their unit, and nothi... moreAlso I think , you should not be charged for a very small scratch for a defective device that you are returning within less than 7 days. Probably, only the store charges you for that(and not really Sony). better send an email to Sony and tell them what happened and verify if they are really charging people for defective units with small scratch.

You should NOT even have brought it to the service center if it is less than 7 days old. The product that they gave you is clearly defective. You should post a blog about that store

Xperia P does not have the changing lights on the strip, it comes only with xperia U & i guess Xperia S.
But trust me bro, the Xperia P is an awesome phone.
I got it for Rs.18250/- worth every penny.
The hover touch, display, 1080 (8MP) is just a trailer.
User experience is Fantastic!

Very bad experience.. Their software, their unit, and nothing for you.
This is regards to what I experience in purchasing a brand new Xperia Sola here in the Philippines. I browsed for some reviews about the unit and it's specs, thought it was good. So, I purchased a unit at Robinsons Manila. They said they don't have any wifi access at the moment to do an update. So I informed them if I can update it myself, said it was okay.
The next day, I updated it using my computer and USB cable, followed the instructions appearing on both PC and the phone. After the update version 6.0.B.3.162 was been made and the PC Companion was installed, restarted the phone. The phone shows "No sim card, please insert your sim card". So, I tried to reinsterting the sim card and replace the sim card with other networks, but still the same problem. The unit is now working only as an android touch.
Third day, hard rain outside, brought back the unit to the store where I purchased it. They tried to reset the phone but still the same problem. So they told me to bring it to their Authorize Service Center for checkup.
Fourth day, I didn't go to work just to have the unit repaired. Bring the unit to their Authorize Service Center in Makati. Asked how long it should take before I would get the result. The man said "2 to 3 hours". I went back after 2 hours and waited for about 30-45 minutes. They said that the unit is for L3 repair since they don't have any spare parts available. They needed to ship the unit for repair eithter some other country or wherever. I asked if they can replace the unit, they said that it can be replaced from the store where I bought the unit. I asked them to call the store and ask if they can replace the unit or what. They said since the screen has a 0.8cm scratch I will be charge for it. (Meaning the unit screen should be posted as PROVEN TO BE SCRATCH) I asked how much, but they were not sure, around 4k more or less. So they gave me some papers as a service report to be brought at purchased branch.
The same day, I went back to the mall where I purchased the unit . The sales lady told me that they can have it replaced for about 2-3 days. I asked how long if it is refunded, she said about a month if credit card and I will be charge about the scratch. Since their warranty does not cover the cosmetics of the unit. I also write about the incident which is possibly their incident report.
Imagine this, you purchase a brand new unit of Sony, now you are working your ass off to have it repaired the next day you purchase it. You asked for a refund, but they said that since the screen has a 0.8cm scratch I will be charged for around Php4,000 for the scratch.
Can I charge them for unreliable service, cannot sleep at night for thinking all about of this, and my service for doing all of this on their behalf?

I've recently bought a Sony Xperia Sola and when I inserted the microSD card into it nothing happened..after some time my phone froze and stopped working. I had to remove the microSD card for it to start working back again. Can someone help me on this??

Whether Xperia Sola will support Micro SDHC memory card apart from Micro SD card. Please post your opnion.
