I think it is better to buy xperia sola ....
do xperia u and xperia sola is the same size

Your tips were a real help, but i went for Xperia P after taking all the reviews & options available.
Trust me the phone is Fantastic.
Sony rocks with Camera, Display & sound, NFC, hovering over the screen is awesome.
The only thing i had to manage is the 1305Ma battery.

i bought this phone 3 days ago. 2 reasons: first is the dual core processor; second is the 512mb RAM. mine shows 380mb RAM. is that true or sony just forgot to put 512mb RAM on mine? pls help.

Advantages of Sola
1.)Internal 8 GB(5GB user available) defy+ has 2gig
2.)They have same camera but Sola's built in software is better. it has 3D panorama, 720 video recording.
3.)Sola has DUAL core 1GHZ (defy+ has 1ghz SINGLE core)
Advantages of DEFY+
1.)It is way cheaper.
I think comparing DEFY+ and Sola is not right. DEFY+ is more of a rival for Xperia Ray. I do not know the price of DEFY plus.
DEFY+ is still good specially if it's price is far from Sola. But you are asking which is better. Sola is better.
If you have low budget, that's why you want DEFY+ , try comparing it with Xperia ray. Xperia ray is a very good phone which is much cheaper than Sola.
Xperia ray even has stronger camera than Sola and has front facing camera(but it only has single core processor same as DEFY+)

I had that dilemma once. Advantages of Xperia U against sola is:
1.) FRONT FACING camera!
2.) MUCH CHEAPER PRICE
3.) THE COLORED BAR THAT CHANGES COLOR (where home button is located) The most expensive Xperia S also have that. I believe it changes color depending on the theme.
But 1 thing changed my mind. Xperia U has no Card Slot, and only 4 gig user accessible memory.
My Music file are already 6 gig? The I want music videos and some movies. How about pictures and apps. Storage will be a problem.
But if 4gig is already enough for you, then better but Xperia U, it has front camera, the cool striped light and is much cheaper, Otherwise (on my sola I bought 32 gig external and it's already filled up)

Inbuilt memory is show in gsm arena and sony site also 8GB ..but in my new sola inbuilt memory is 4GB only .

Hi All,
I had hands on the phone on the shop, it had great voice which i checked with my creative earphones.
Camera is ok but not so good with zoom, display is fine but music sound rocks.
Question:
1> As most of u have written that Sola has low voice in earphones, is this issue about the loudness while talking i.e in ear speaker, please spacify???
2> If i phone as:
Internet: 2 hour
Wifi: None
Music(earphone): 4-5 hours
Talk: 1 hour
Gaming: 1 hour
Then can it last for a day(16 hours)???
