Crap phone Xperia Sola
I have some weird problem with my Xperia SOLA. If I receive a call while listening to music through earphone, phone will only vibrate. Nothing is heard through the earphone. After receiving the call, call timer display will come start after 4-5 seconds. Now, nothing is audible. I removed the earphone, then also loudspeaker both front and back is not working. After disconnecting the call, I played the music, but nothing is audible I received a call without earphone plugged in, loudspeaker totally stopped working Only way to set it right is to restart the phone!!!
Please let me know whether this is a software issue or hardware issue. If hardware issue, guide me to get a replacement. If software, fix it ASAP.
This should be fixed soon.

Guys i bought sola yest....
Jus need to ask bout RAM..
when i go to settings/apps/running services...it shows Ram used and free.
it usually shows 155 used nd 158 free...
means jus 313 MB..
wats this..pls help

Hi
After a few days of using xperia sola
My review is pretty good
The only thing i hate is the RAM because you have to kill apps almost every hour
The battery so far so good 25 - 26 hour ( busy )

Sola is having multiple problems
1. Low bettery life compare to Neo V (I have both the hansets)
2. Network connection having som bug in Sola, specially while travelling
3. With dual core processor, RAM is 512 mb (actually 380 Mb) not sufficient
4. Camera result is far better in Neo V
5. Many apps not supporting Sola like Chrome mobile, Google voice calling through Gtalk etc.
The only problem with neo V is low phone memory

Which phone should i buy, neo v or sola? Neo v is old but good looking and sola is newer. My impression is on sola. But sometime i take many wrong descition. Plz help to choose right one among them with reasons. Thanks in advance. Sorry for bad english.

Thanks for your earlier reply. Can you please help me whether confirm that whether I will go for Sola or for some other phone within the same range. As I have read alot of opinions and I got mixed reviews for all the phone. So guys please help me alot as I am going to buy this phone on Sunday.

i try t... moreI have to admit, this phone battery last 1-2 days normal use including wifi, 3g and doing games and some texts. you almost need to charge it everday to make sure that you wont run out of battery the next day when you are outside.
But on standby mode and no texting? I dont believe that you only last for about 24 hours. The phone could last more than a week if you are doing nothing and you killed all running apps in background using apps like "Go task manager".
probably you have something consuming your battery like GPS, or WIFI, or DATA. Or you have lots of WIDGETS outside

Xperia Ray and other older phones where given update to ICS 4.0.x. Updates for new released phone would probably come this year.
About side effects and other issues, well we all don't know that until the update is released :)

And you said your priority is Gaming and camera.
You should get either Arc S or Xperia P both of them have 8 mega pixel cameras which is very good.
And can play good HD games. Screens are also big which is good for gaming. Arc S(1.4 single core) is much cheaper and Xperia P(1.0 Dual Core) is more expensive than Sola. Depends on your budget.
Xperia play is also good, since it has a PSP like game controls. But it only has single core 1ghz processor.camera is just 5 mega pixel like sola. I hope they release a new version of xperia play for gamers.

AMOLED is having light in each pixels, yes it really emits. hence there will be nearly zero battery consumption while displaying black colour.
Another benefit is true contrast.
Wait for sometime, we will have OLED TV also and its will be really Low power.
