I opened service tests/Proximity switch/...
than a black screen appeared witten in the middle:
"Proximity Switch OFF"
So what should i do ?
how can i turn it on ?!!!
or is it damaged ?!!
or is it a manufacturing defect ? or what ?
another question: from where do you get these information ... i searched the sola user guide manual but i didn't find any helpful information.
please respond ...

Application open and close a lot faster when I was still using GB. I also notice floating touch kinda went overdrive I can't play temple run properly because it jumps even when I'm barely touching the screen and it goes the opposite direction. The positive thing about ICS is the browsing experience its a lot faster especially using the google chrome.

i recently bought sony sola smartphone, the phone is overall a good handset with a good display, but i would like to know bout the total ram of this phone which sony claims to be 512mb, but on running android assistant app it showed 368.08mb as total ram and around 99.8mb as free, i am surprised at these results, is it fruad by sony to its customers or what? i am not able to comprehend..guys pl reply from ur experiences

Go for sola guys , I think its better than U , U limits u to just 4gb, while sola has memmory card slot,5gb user accessible memmory and 1gb+ for android applications, floating touch is awesome , and it has NFC too.
I`m using sola with ICS( .54 , rooted ). and I`m just LOVING it .
It has a lot better display than go.

I have xperia sola and have a problem with my mic, I have to speak a bit louder rather shout to make other person hear me during call and I have to use handsfree ,which is very annoying and even secondry mic does not seem working well during video recording ,voice is too low.
I tested my mic in service-menu test , even there voice recorded is too low.
Is this harware isue or software related ??
other than that phone is REALLY REALLY AWESOME

Towhid, 25 Jan 2013@ GOG, you can press the power switch once to lock the scre... morethanks Towhid alot ... but there is no option to enable/disable the proximity sensor, isn't it ?!!!
I want to make sure that my sensor is damaged ... so i will take it to maintenance ... please answer. thanks

@ GOG, you can press the power switch once to lock the screen. this will solve your problem.
