AsolA, 28 Dec 2012Same anxiety for me too bro. By the way my sola's display... moreits not a bug the phones light sensor then turn on and light decreases slowly go to settings-didplay-brigtness and uncheck automatic brightness i'm also using 2.3.7 so i will help all who using gb and sola :P

okak, 28 Dec 2012Just bought Sola. Won't upgrade at least not now-worx perfe... moreopen astro it will show you sd card(internal memory) folder find the folder you want to move,put the finger on that folder - wait for options window appears then select "move",then press "up" button(in astro) it will show you the mnt directory,in that directory the is folder called "ext_card" - that is your real sd card folder go to that folder press "paste" button(in astro)

duke, 28 Dec 2012What's with jellybean?i read that they make it not support because sola have mali 400 gpu and 512mb ram they also say that in jb - gpu needs more ram - more ram need more lag because free ram is needed for games or else,thats why gets jb because it has 1gb of ram also xperia s

erren, 28 Dec 2012im thinking of buying this phone,but is it good to use with... moreIt will do, but its a lot better if you download some apps besides the pre - installed ones. It will maximize the use of your phone.. Don't believe every bad things you read here against this phone every phone has its flaw but I can honestly tell you that this is a good buy.

By the way my sola's display automatically
brightens for 2-3 seconds when kept idle (I.e
when the screen is locked). The screen gets
brightened as if I am pressing the power off/
on button in order to unlock the phone. I am
using gingerbread 2.3.7.
Have you faced any such issues? ??
Is it normal or some sort of bug or any app issue? ??
Any solution will be highly appreciated. ..

Just bought Sola. Won't upgrade at least not now-worx perfectly. Just a question: I created (from PC) folders (under E:\Removable disk) and copied fotos. Astro doesn't show this folders so the must be in the phone memory. How can I move the folders to SD card.
Anyone knows?

It's q... moreNo, your battery drain increase using task killing apps because then programs starts to kill apps cpu freq will be 1ghz instead of 200mhz then it is on sleep, i been having Advanced Task Killer on lww and battery doesnt last a day so i decided to delete that app and battery was lasting 2-3days then app was removed until then i doesn't use any kind of theese apps :)

The sola should have been supported for JB, but Sony butched it..... I regretted that I should've bought the Xperia P instead....

im thinking of buying this phone,but is it good to use without downloading any apps?just "out of the box"?
ive been reading reviews about hte phone,most of it was bad comments about the phone...

do we really have to press the `power button` everytime we use this phone so the screen will light up and we could unlock the phone?(phone is already ON but since it sleeps when ur not using it , the light die down and the only way u can unlock ur phone and use it again is to press the power button )is there any other way besides pressing the power button?im worried that my power button will wear out very soon.

I've just bought this phone last 2 days ago. After went through some websites, finally managed to upgrade my Sola to ICS 4.0.4...No problem with performance.....Make sure u do a full wipe / factory reset ...don't overwrite.

I'd rather to think that sony is joking to decide sola not getting the jb. i'll be waiting for it. if thats true, i'll use it for one more year..then if sony still like this(late to give an update n decide mid-class phone not getting next android os) next year, i'll keep my mind off any sony phones...
this sola is really great to me, but its service is really poor...

Mark, 24 Dec 2012My Xperia Sola Is Super Lag! I Download A Ram Manager Pro T... moreHi, I really do not think a RAM manager will make a difference. I solved this problem (I was about to Factory data reset my phone) by moving all apps I could from the internal phone memory to the internal "SD" memory. You can move them to an external memory too if available. As well my home screens are not cluttered with widgets. To be honest I am using this app: "Android Memory Booster FREE" which seems to work too featuring a very simple interface without having to kill apps every 5 minutes. Good luck.
