Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7(Sony Xper... morewhen it comes to speed on processing 1.7Ghz is of course faster than 1.2Ghz but when you will base the decision on real life performance then i will say quad core 1.2Ghz Snapdragon 400 is better than dual core 1.7gHz. this is because quadcore is better at multi tasking, where in you won't notice any lag running multiple apps all at the same time compare to dual cores. also there are games now that utilizes all 4 cores so playing those games will be lag free on quad cores.
but if you will ask which is better xperia M2 or sP then i will say both are good phones, SP may have the advantage when it comes to GPU. but i think M2 looks better as it has almost the same design as Z1 compact.

was facing a huge battery drain.. battery was to last about 4
hours in screen on..went to Sony service center they said
they will test it.. if there is a issue they will replace it.. they
replaced ma battery but der is no change still ma battery
drains same as before.. it seems like they didn't replace
only...pls help

Does XSP white's silver coating in aluminium frame fades away? I like white but I'm afraid of silver color of the frame being washed out and fear that the set will look ugly. Should I go for XSP black for looks durability? Help me out friends.

I bought Sony Experia SP last week but i am facing the problem of Battery bakup and the phone is getting hot....dnt know what happn...now it is with service centre
I charged the phone whole night and in the morning it was only 75% charged.........

After all the recent updates (.201) My phone lagged a lot... Yeasterday I uninstalled all games n took a back up of just the important apps wid the inbuilt Back n Restore app n then did a Factory Data Reset... My phone is a lot lot better now... Was thinking Reset wont do much of a improvement after reading a lot of opinions asking 2 do so but now I suggest DO A FACTORY DATA RESET (WITH INTERNAL DATA CLEAR OPTION ON) N U WILL LOVE UR XSP...
N do hav a proper backup of all Ur important data... I had a problem wid My contacts backup but thankfully I had a v card backup of it...

If you go to data usage in options, you can enable restricted background data for each app individually by selecting it from the list and using the option in the bottom of the next screen.

But the only issue I have been facing since using it, the battery backup. I charged it till 75% in night and when used in office next day, battery dropped to 15% after only a few software updates, messaging on whatsapp etc. Can anyone please guide me the resolution? I need a good battery backup time.

I realised my Xperia SP does allow me restrict background data per app. If i restrict background it restricts all apps and i can only get messages when I open a particular app maybe it should allow or have an option of restricting background data per app too.

Inside your camera scene settings,if u chose night scene, my phone lags like hell,,,,,anyone getting lag there..... Rest of everything is cool,,,anyone can suggest me a pair of good ear phones
