AnonD-77630, 16 Apr 2014Thats impossible, sp has better chipset, S4 plus is more po... more SP uses S4 pro chip and not S4 plus, but yes i agree.. on paper you'll see that SP has better benchmark score than HTC one or one mini [ which the other person mentioned ] but in real life performance due to the bug that SP has on 4.3 lagness and slowness the performance is slow than what it should be. so in real life performance the HTC one/ mini feels faster than SP even if SP has a more powerful chip because of the 4.3 bug.

Thats impossible, sp has better chipset, S4 plus is more powerful than snapdragon 400, in matter of both GPU and CPU performance, maybe there was a problem with the sp that you had ;) and htc one is way out of xperia sp's league :D

ANDROID, 14 Apr 2014Thanks.... for your opinion .... Dude What you say about it... moreGet the HTC one or one mini, don't get the xperia sp it's a waste of money. The sp is slow, lags a lot, has a rubbish front camera, the screen brightness is rubbish. My sister has the htc one mini and although it's a bit smaller its thinner and a lot faster and the camera is good and doesn't lag.

Steve, 13 Apr 2014Gys which phone is better sony xperia sp or nokia lumia 820... moreIf you are really tight on budget, I would suggest you to buy Lenovo. I don't know where you're from but in Malaysia, Lenovo phones are all the rage nowadays coz of its dirt cheap prices and ultra-fast performance.

You can look at the following models:
                      1) Lenovo S650
                      - RM409, 4.7" qHD, Quad Core 1.3Ghz, 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM (can install apps directly to SDcard), 8MPx + VGA camera, 2000MAH battery, slim & lightweight design

                      2) Lenovo S930
                      - RM609, 6" HD, Quad Core 1.3Ghz, 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM (can install apps directly to SDcard), 8MPx + 1.6MPx camera, Dolby Stereo Speakers, 3000MAH battery, slim & lightweight design

                      3) Lenovo A850+
                      - RM469, 5.5" qHD, Octa-Core 1.4GHz, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, 5MPx + 3MPx Camera, 2500MAH battery

FYI, I have owned Xperia SP, Xperia C, Lenovo S930 and Lenovo S650. Out of this, Xperia SP used to be my most favorite but the 4.3 Update ruined it for me. Now, Lenovo S930 is best due to its scree size, gaming and superb speakers.

If you're still skeptical about Lenovo phones, then better buy Xperia C which is cheaper than Xperia SP, looks prettier, lighter, and have option to install apps directly to SD card.

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2014Hi, I read complaints that Sp has bending frame because of ... moreno, the frame is made up of aluminum. it is sturdy and has a good texture to take a grip.

no need for pouch, as there are cases that are good. try looking for bumper cases, i like them. they protect the sides of the xperia sp to avoid the aluminum to get scratched. i got the white one, and i tell you white gets dirty but the material used on the white back panel doesnt attract dirt much, and the silver framing made up of aluminum too does not take that much dirt.

xperia sp is good quality, not like samsung, which uses mostly plastic. i can't believe it, they use plastic for most of their products, especially their previous flagships.

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2014Hi, I read complaints that Sp has bending frame because of ... morethey say the phone was bent because of heating issue so a pouch won't stop that, but i don't think the phone would be bent without extreme heat and a little force applied. the phone does not heat to that point where it will be possible for it to be bent, but for safe keeping to avoid force bending the phone it is a good idea to use pouch or hard cases that will support the phone.
